Very nice pictures, thanks for sharing and for the details as well.

Natural beauty is always a retreat to eyes and mind even if in pictures.

The forests of our country are depleting at a fast pace. The trees are first burnt at the bottom and then cut as declared dead. A big mafia is involved behind. I have seen it even on the Daman e Koh road after crossing the panjabi KPK boundary.

Forests are federally protected by law. Cutting means going behind bars.. I wish our govt dept stop forest cutting. And preserve natural beauty..

Great smoky mountains when i was at school in NC State Univ. Raleigh, almost every year at end of summer, before semester resumes we 5 guys use to drive up there from other side. Being desis we use to rent a VAN at US$2.35 per day unlimited milage [ yes US$2.35 plus tax PER DAY in min 80s' ], use it big time 3 ~ 5 days, car wash visit 10 miles before return. Those were days of SLR cameras I will see if I can scan the picture with a wooden plaque - Mississippi River - Great smoky Mountain National Park Cherokee Village we use to spend time around

Good Old days - LUSH LUSH LUSH GREEN - but - Nothing beats OUR UP North, May peace prevail all across north & south in Pakistan for safe secure road travel.
