DAY 25, JULY 25, 2009.
Nanga Parbat Viewpoint to Rawalpindi(500+ kms Approx)
This was the toughest day of the whole trip. Road was in bad shape, it was scorching hot and the distance was too much. It was just ride, ride and ride without much thinking. Until I made it to place called Chattar Plain, relatively cooler place. I told Tahir when we left Chilas that on this day I wouldnt wait too much for him to catch up and he would have to push as hard as I would, but still he fell behind again and again. I did stop quite a few times despite my warning but he continued at his own pace. After my last warning somewhere before Besham I didnt stop till I reached a place called Chatter Plain, relatively a cooler place. I didnt like leaving my riding buddy behind but u just cant do over 500 kms in such conditions on small bikes without pushing a little harder. I had to wait for almost two hours before Tahir joined me there, this delay created some other problems for the rest of the journey.
