Very good step...I think we must come forward to develop EV cars scooters setup in Pakistan ther by decreasing our reliance on oil import from outside thereby decreasing our import...from health point of view...EV cars are good for us...noise and smoke free...no dirty engine oil after use to pilute our environments...just see impact of lockdown on environment and health

Well EV cars look green but the net effect is nearly same. Unless the country in making its electricity from clean energy e.g. solar or wind. If you have to burn more hydrocarbons to keep the EV cars running then its a lost cause.

Even if EVs are charged using 100% coal (which is not the case in Pakistan or anywhere else) it is still more efficient and produces less emissions than Internal combustion.
