If you are coming from Faisalabad, take motorway towards Peshawar (don't exit from Islamabad interchange), after crossing Islamabad exit turn, about 35 to 40 Kms drive towards Peshawar you will get Burhan interchange (E-tag facility available at Burhan), after exit take road pointing to Hasanabdal, after 2 to 3 Kilometer you need to take turn on left side. Sign boards pointing Abbottabad, Gilgit etc can be seen. This is Karakorum Highway (Silk Road).

There is no motorway going to Abbottabad. If you are coming from Faisalabad then you can take M3 to M2 and then take M1 (Islamabad - Peshawar) and take an exit from Burhan (GT Road Junction). From Burhan you will have to come back towards Pindi and take a left from Hassabadal Cadet College towards Abbottabad. It is approximatley 70 KM drive. Road is OK but they are widening road near Abbottabad and thats a bloody bottle neck.

ver well guide n from hasan abdal to abbotabad the road condition is better then normal or u can say it is gud but at the end widening process create some prob but not big issue

yeah the burhan interchange is the best way to get to abbotabad because after it there is no road blocks or alot of traffic and crossing taxila is a pain in the a**
