The internet banking runs in secured SSL. But yes hackers can reach anywhere. But transferring money from bank account leaves trail . It can be transferred to a valid account.

They mostly will hack in to credit card systems and order merchandise.

I never came through this before, well it scared me, as em using internet banking quite long... they can access customers logins and can easily transfer funds..

Like my business card was hacked few years ago and computer equipment worth. $8500 was bought and shipped from someone in Germany. I claimed back after reporting fraudulent transaction.

Thats why never use a debit card to buy stuff online or in store as its a hard cash. Goes directly out of account. Credit card is more secure as well you can report fraud and claim easily.

ABL already has poor customer care, best is not to use internet banking, debit or credit cards.

Time for Pakistan to implement Java for payments.

When ever i want to order something online, i give the usual stuff, card number etc.
When i click "Buy" or "Proceed", normally payment goes through, but not in 3D-secure java case.

I have a little device, i type in a pin which i got from the bank, and it generates a 8-digit code, a new code for every use.
After that, i have to type a fixed password too, which makes it even more secure.

And ABL in my area, their ATM is closed on sundays, and sometimes on saturday

They have just defaced the site. They cannot access customer logins no worries. Bunch of script kiddies trying to be smart a$$es
