About Corolla SE SALOON Automatic (2002-2005)

se saloon is a good car. i used a manual one for time and the power delivery to wheels is excellent. the brakes are crappy. the optitron meter looks good. the interior has wooden trims. its better than the normal xli and gli's.
the pick on cng is excellent. overall as a package its not as good as a civic but still better than normal xli crap in terms of engine power and gearbox.

Several people have stated that Corolla Gli 2006 and Se Saloon are very different cars. If I am not wrong that only major difference is the engine and the Opitron Instrument Panel. Would friends share as to wat is soo different among the two cars

Its nice car. i have a 2005 model well every thing is good about it except its brakes and fuel consumption ....

we bot it ven it was launced in 02 , and it was really impressive , well i never drove tht car since was very young at tht time but My dad says tht both are equally good , well i noe civic is better , but suspension , road clearance and things like these really irritates abv 40 ppl , b/c they want really a durable and reliable car may be thts y my dad likes se saloon more than my civic 05

and btw we have kept all variants of corolla(02-06) Se Saloon is much much better than Gli , i noticed tht diff just by siting in the car ven my dad used to drive them so obviously theres gonna be diff in drive as well

and the pick in L then in 2 and then in D was awesome , my dad used to drive it like a rocket ven he bot it in 02 ! personally i dont believe tht se saloon can beat civic b/c now i have beaten it many times with civic , but my dad once has beaten my cousins civic Vti Oriel badly on long route , and right from the beginning both cars were driven to the max Rpm s but civic was beaten badly in the end

@sinbad99 there is alot of difference b/w se saloon and XLI,GLI. the only thing mising in se saloon is ABS , but braking can be improved installing R16/91h/205 tyres. se saloon is a awsome ride , aptitron meter, air bags , wooden interior, keyless entry, powermirrors, powerwindows., foglamps, sideskirts, cd, cassett player with four door fitted speakers and many more features

xli, gli are uncomparable with the drive and comfort of se saloon

Going for the brake service of se saloon auto tomorrow after approx 1.5 years. Any suggestions or guide to take care of while doing brakes work? I also experienced car going on left side over 60km/hr speed. Should i go for alignment as well ? And also at 60km/hr speed emergency brake is not that effective. and move to left side and only left tire skits.
