Aoa all. I recently got an EXI Pros 2003. Owner was using Total Quartz 9000 5w30. It has lost all of qualities, and me personally, I dont like using Total Quartz. ATF has not been changed at all. It has started to loose it's pink color. Engine is becoming noisy and the drive isn't smooth, its nothing like a soundless engine that we love. ODO is 103K.
I made a list of products from Liqui Moly:
1) Special Tec AA 5W-30
2) Honda genuine oil filter
3) Engine Flush
4) Cera Tec
For ATF:
5) Hondas ATF/ZIC Dexron III (DW-1/Z1).
Since the engine oil has NOT been changed for 15000KM, I am inclined to get the Engine Flush Plus from LM too. And, I was reading about Total Quartz 9000, it said that its a Fully Synthetic oil, and Special Tec AA is only Synthetic but is API SN. Will it cause any harm to the engine?
Moving on, is it okay to add some Cera Tec to the gear oil? I'll be flusing it out anyways, and if CeraTec can provide a protective coating and make the tranny assy last longer, should I add it?
