Guys,

I want to buy new samsung plasma lcd worth rs. 47000as my budget is around 50. Plzz guide me is plasma lcd better than lcd and which brand. Should i buy Lcd or Plasma as Led is much more expensive.

Shop keepers said cable tv works better on plasma than lcd or Led tv's...

yes... On cable, plasma is batter then LED and LCD. i don't know current market situation ... but go for Samsung..

Brother don't buy plasma, now we are living in the age of LED TVs, since your budget is low so go for LCD.
LED>LCD>Plasma

When LCD TVs were in the initially introduced they used to produce poorer picture as compared to their Plasma counterpart, but ever since then the picture quality of the LCD has improved a lot.

Picture quality wise, plasmas are as good as leds. Plasmas are heavy on electricity.
Life of plasma panel is 100k hours thats better than both leds and lcds...
Plasmaa are way cheaper than both too... 43 inch led is aabove 80k i guess so thats like twice the price for the same pic quality...

Assalamualkium

I am Using Samsung Plasma 43" since Oct 2011 Alhamdolillah No issue yet and working perfectly Excellent. One thing i should recommend that please install a good stabilizer with time interference. And one more thing please also fully cover with the cloth or some thing to save dust. It will also extend life.

sir g kia karee is size ki lcd bhi bari mehngi hai aur nobel i dont wana buy such cheap stuff.

Its a one time investment.

Sir thanks a lot for the comment. I am much satisfied now, i was confused as plasma Tv is older than Lcd technology, now the only issue is power consumption....

Dear plazma is old now go for LED
Led is power efficient than Plazma n LCD. LED has longer life than both

Agar sirf cable tv chalana hai to Plazma is best. Increase ur budget a little bit for LED

I know plasma lcd consumes more power............. Lcd consumes much less power, led a little lesser than lcd but its the same question my budget is 50 k max..........

dont wana buy nobel or eco star, ching chaung ruba...............

Do little effort and increase some more budget up to Rs. 60K and check Samsung UE40EH5300

Also check some Grey LED's (imported without warranty), my be you get this model near about 50K

Two month ago I had purchased 46" 3D LED ES6200 (without warranty) in 100K (H) and with Warranty (now Orient is providing warranty of Samsung warranty) it was near about 150K (A)

Check the price difference man...

I am using all three types in my house, trust me for normal cable viewing my Samsung plasma 51" is the best plus the picture does not distort or blur when u view it from a little side right or left as it happens in led or LCD tv. Plasma any time.

those who r saying plasma is older technology update themselves. RGB color plasma introduced in 1998 while lcd introduced in 1980s. i had casio lcd color tv which my father bought in 1989.though on box it was written 16bit color.
donot go for samsung plasmas. better buy panasonic 42x30r(remember model) shopkeeper will try to cheat u by showing u 42x20r.max price 55000rs.
advantage of panasonic plasma over LED, LCD, AMOLED etc etc
true natural picture as compared to artificial picture of lcd/led
true black color with great contrast. LED/LCD never produces black color instead they produces dark grey color which our eye sometimes detect easily
half the price of LCD/LED
panasonic plasma has more inputs then any other plasma or lcd/led
u can clean plasma screen using glint and hard hand even strike tennis ball as screen is made up of glass.while a small force on led/lcd screen u will be in grave
180 degree viewing angle. watch from any where no color or pic degradation.
the only disadvantage of plasma over lcd/led is power consumption which is 200w. while lcd/led consume 110w-120w.only difference come in bill of extra 400rs
liife of panasonic plasma screen is 1000,000hrs which will be nearly 30years if u watch 8hrs daily(ab bhi bachey ki jaan logay kya)
remember image burn is totaly removed from plasma technology and image retention can be washed out so no worries of these words which led plasma into background

plasma has sharper picture but i`ve heard the plasma needs longer sitting distance n dark room , every company is decreasing their plasma models now n even samsung has done so , its all about LED tv now . . .

The reason behind this is that for plasma you need a separate factor only for plasma while led and lcd now used in every instruments not only in TV unlike plasma
