I've yet to see a full HD plasma in cheaper price .... this plasma should be 720p generally 1080p plasmas are equally expansive as LED TVs probably more

Go for E450. It's the best among low price Plasma TVs.

Bhai. I would suggest go for LED i have been searching for a good tv. I end up finding samsung 40eh5000 full hd and 40eh5300.
Its your decision whether to buy plasma lcd or led but i would suggest go to a full hd led not the smart one. I am myself going to buy a samsung led but not a smart tv because they are expensive and i am not a fan of smart tv,s.

According to me.
Samsung Authorized dealers are very expensive.
At 2nd place comes stores like metro, hyperstar almost same rates and with warranty.
At 3rd place comes websites like homeshopping, low rates but i doubt the product also provide their own warranty.
At last comes abid mqarket very cheap without warranty, they say its imported mall but again doubt the product.

After this research i am still unable to make my mind, i guess if you have some know person in abid market then buy from their if nyou are in lahore. They say imported mall ha guarantee nahi ha but company ka mall ha kuch nahi hota isay..

ECO star is a very good and reliable brand. their tvz can easily compete or beat other branded brands. i checked their 42' 3D led tv. its results were far better than samsung / sony etc.

currently i am using 43'D450 samsung plasma . value for money.

Salam,
Brothers I have the same issue I intend to buy a Tv in the range of 40K - 45K
The size I am looking for is 40"-43"
as my main use would be for watching cable tv therefore the research i have done and seen is that plasma are best for cable
its the movies for which LCDs and LEDs are best

I am confused whether to buy or not the Samsung Plasma Tv E450 which has not been launched in Pakistan but is available in saddar.

Currently the price for 43 samsung plasma is 43,000, but the picture quality was not very crisp, so yesterday I bought LG CS411 LCD for 31,500, don't know I got a good price or not as it was previously available for Rs. 28,000 at Metro but now out of stock.

askai37 i 99% agree with you because i have found out and compared plasma/lcd/led many times by myself . However, i have seen samsung plasma models in market alot and haven't found any panasonic plasma models in lahore now. Kindly suggest me a good market of plasma tvs in lahore to get it.

if u have budget then go for panasonic authorized center and ask for plasma or u can get it on home shopping network.
by the way panasonic 42 inch plasma 42X30r cost 49000 in karachi now

though plasma is an old technology but results & life wise plasma is equivalent to LED. no comparison with LCD i have both and plasma is way above lcd in results and picture quality and colors sharpness.

brother please guide me as i am looking forward for buying Samsung 43" E450 plasma tv (720p resolution)
Which is available only in Saddar and not at any Samsung outlet as it has not been launched in Pakistan
the model samsung is offering is Samsung 43" E400 which is approx 480p resolution with the same functions as E450 with usb play option they are offering for Rs. 43,000

As u are using the Same model I intend to buy just that u have D450 and I am going for E450 just wanted to ask a few questions kindly if you could answer them

From where did u purchase your Tv?
During the 2 years did you face any troubles with it the panel and stuff?
Can we attach external speakers with it? as well as home theater system?
Did you purchase it with warranty or the without warranty from saddar?
is your model D450 720p resolution

I would apprecite if you could please answer these for me and if any other person has something to add on

Bhai I have been using two plasmas (Panasonic 42 inch) for the past 5 years. Excellent picture quality and if u are a fan of black color then go for Plasma. It produces the sexiest black colors better than LCD. LED is good but my younger brother told me that it produces blocks when downloaded movies are played on it through computer. I don't know the reason. But here are my preferences:

LED (Samsung, LG)
Plasma (Panasonic, Samsung) ; Panasonic plasma has Japanese panel with 3 years warantee and dynamic contrast is 2 million.
LCD (Samsung, Sony, LG)

LG has LPS technology in LCD panels which is much better than Samsung technology used by both Samsung and Sony.

From where did u purchase your Tv? - bought it from Clifton center Samsung shop.

is your model D450 720p resolution - D450 supports 720p but i guess e450 supports 1080p , though i am happy with 720p because of file size.

I have been using Samsung D450 plasma for past 3+ years with out any problem. Its Korean assembled and bought it from Metro.

Plasma consumes more electricity and is heavier it gets image burn problem after some time. It is sensetive to weather etc. Picture quality is better and colors are rich and dark, plasma is best in a room where you keep curtains closed and room is little darker.

lcd is light in weight, consumes less electricity.
