This morning, when I turned on the AC, only the blower fan was running — the compressor wasn’t starting, so there was no cooling. I tried turning it on and off several times, but it still didn’t work. I had it checked by an electrician, and according to him, all the fuses were fine. Normally, the AC cools the cabin perfectly when it runs, but the mechanic said it might be a gas issue, etc. Anyway, when I turned it on and off once more, it started working. I suspect it might be a problem with the button, possibly carbon buildup or something similar. I don't think it’s a compressor fault, as those are usually permanent or affect cooling continuously.
A day ago in the evening, the same thing happened but after switching it on and off a few times, it started working fine. I need suggestions because most mechanics just try to make money off such situations. Please help.
