AC Compressor

I have toyota corolla Altis 2017 model... Its compressor is out of order...
Visited AC Wala he Saying you can have two options
1. Toyota Old Models AC compressor Magnetic wala, Work will cost 40k-45k
2. Honda City ka Japanese Compressor, work will cost 20-22k

I am just considering for which option i will go, Some of my friends are saying dont for alteration, RPM ka issues ayengy...

Others are saying, not a big deal, save money and go for city compressor, it also performs best.....

I m confused to decide... Kindly help out...

In 90% cases only solenoid are faulty in OEM sensor compressors, now these solenoid are available in market... Visit MS Car AC at tariq road if you are in Karachi, they have these solenoids in stock..

replace with the exact same compressor.

do not go for modifications.

Visit MS autos khushal road pechs he is having sensors for sensor type compressors in corolla give him a visit may you save money on replacement.

Koi issue nahi hota bhai and yar ap itnay sawal karnay sey MS autos visit karlo ziada feasibile rahy ga.
Wesey clutch type compress lagnay kay bad koi issue nahi ata me use kar rah hu GLi me.

If you fit old corolla or terios then definitely you will face load issues and fuel economy will drop.
Duet or city GM compressor works fine without causing any issue.
Oem compressor on 2016 1.8 cvti died at 90k kms.. jugaar is working better then original, and odo is 186k kms now.

On the other hand, if you can afford then nothing beats oem.

If the system is low on gas, it will migrate the oil from the compressor to the evaporator,

You will notice noise when this happens, if you charge it fully by weight and let it run, the oil will migrate back to the compressor.
