On stand still, there is a weird grinding noise coming from the AC compressor tho the cooling is fine. Car is Mira 2015. What seems to be the problem?
Could be the magnetic clutch going bad...
can it be replaced or does the whole compressor need to be replaced?
No need for whole compressor to be replaced. You can only replace the clutch, I would suggest you leave it as it is. If it sound bothers you while driving (often engine sound also changes) then go for replacement.
