I'm thinking of installing Air Conditioner in my recently bought FX (Just got my engine over hauled).

Please suggest if it is recommended to install or not to install the AC.

Any cost ideas would be highly appreciated.

Get a Sanden AC Installed. i dun know the cost. let some other tell u the same.

1) My FX is on CNG... will you still recommend installing AC...

2) any idea about the cost of Sanden AC ???

You mentioned you have undergone engine overhaul of your car. Have you completed the desired 'Running'. If not then it is not advisable to install AC. Otherwise you can get a compatible Kabli AC, make necessary service (replacing oil and seal) and install in your FX (insist for the arrangement of AC installation by the person from whom you purchased it, to be on safe side). I think Rs.2000-2500/= will be sufficient.

Running already done (approx 900 kms)

Already a month passed from the date of purchase, therefore, cannot go back to the seller for installation (btw good idea for future)

Total cost: 2000~2500 unbelieveable, possibly i'm misunderstanding it, but if you say so, i won't argue as you are adviser and Expert!!!

hey dude i have a mehran on cng with a/c as u know on cng car picks goes down in small cars and with a/c little more ....but no matter u can install a/c as i have done there is no problem enjoy the kooling...yar u think now days the a/c of 800 cc cars are 20000 to 25000 in karachi...

20~25k too much... if that is the case i think it won't be feasable to install AC in a car worth 100k
my idea was 10,000 max to enjoy the benefit and get it encashed when i'll be selling it (hopefully not)

Why you dont go for selling this car and purchase new one with air-conditioning system already installed?
Now a days it is becoming difficult to drive a car without ac installed in it.
