AC in Suzuki FX

I want to add AC in my Suzuki FX 1985 in Lahore.

I need help where should i go for the best and competitive.

and if it will work in fx as some mechanic suggest me not to install AC as it will decrease pick.

i am driving on Patrol and geeting 13km/L in lahore traffic. On AC this average will decrease about how much. if it lowers below 11.5km/L then it will not install AC.

Kindly help me out.

Well A/C in FX might not work properly and i have yet to see a FX or Mehran with good A/C.

So my suggestion will be to stay away from a/c

reasons

1 - Most commong problem you will face car heatup problems.

2 - Cooling will be bad in heavy trafic bcoz of only one fan for both condensor and radiator

3 - It will be hard to find A/C parts if ur going for 2nd hand parts.

Sadly yes. I mean app paisa lagao gey 15 sey 18000 aur phir maza nahi aye ga tu faida.

Waisa if u still wana try it tu phir what u can do is do a bit of alteration

1 - Install Denso compressor that puts less load on engine.

2 - If u can try to install condensor of Cultus Multi aisle one the one that came in the new model that is available and agar Alto ka mila tu best its small so it will fit well.

3- There should be a fan infront of condensor as well means double fan hoga one or radiator and one on condensor alteration karni para ge but u have to find a slim fan for it.

4 - Radiator will be a prob so get coure's original japanese radiator us ko alteration karwa kar fit karwa lo. best yeh hoga to find Japanese Qabli charade Diesel 3 Nali radiator it will be hard to find lekin mil gaya tu gari heat up nahi hogi chaha jo marzi ho

Do the above and a/c ka faida ho sakta hai

A/C ka leya kum sey kum 1000cc ho plus us main bhi setup acha kia hova than koi faida hoga waisa a/c is good in 1300cc or above cars us ka necha buss room cooler type ke cheez he banti hai i am talkking about old cars here ok

Ac would work fine with 2 passengers in the car, but the cars engine should be in good condition, initially it would give you trouble but later on it would be fine

here is new problem

related to starting problem on cng

i was facing this problem that when my car was hot it doesnot start on cng and i have to start it on patrol.

later i moved to mechanic n who installed an electonic component called rectifier between self and ignition coil

now the problem is resloved.

what is this rectifier and any disadvantage of this part?

I am a proud owner of 2 totally original suzuki Ifx for around the past 29 years .
We brought it zero meter .
I have cng as well as ac installed in both of them. The ac is good enough that fog tends to appear on its windows even on CNG.

All you need to do is
1) new 3 nali radiator
2) radiator new fan with relay installed
3) pin to increase the rpm on ac

thats all .

just change to 3 nali radiator and use very very good quality or denso original condenser only then you will feel good cooling. cooling will be poor in day time but it will be very good at night. and go to good workshop for original american r134a gas (as they call it).

I own a 1988 Fx, got turbo AC installed last week. Pajero Mini compressor and Corolla 2D XE evaporator. Throw is excellent since i got turbo fan installed for AC. Cooling is great too as my engine is in great condition and runs on petrol. I spent 30K and got it done from an experienced mechanic for best possible performance and got it perfectly. Only minor issue is heat. It gets heated up ( temperature needle hits a little above half-way mark) when i'm stuck in traffic or in extreme hot. I'm planning to get a faster radiator fan installed. Will share the results when i do that.

Update: I got corolla XLI Radiator fan installed which revs much faster than stock FX fan, also i replaced stock generator with a japanese Denso generator from Bilal Ganj since battery was discharge due to higher power consumption. All is working almost perfectly now, yet to try AC in June/July Hot noon.

Got it done from a workshop around Ganga-ram (Queens road), owner is uncle of my Friend. No issues, In peak summer noon, i have to be careful about heating up but that happens with Mehrans too so no worries.
