My question is about AC Service
Most technicians do AC service by putting down both indoor and outdoor unit and then cleaning it

But I have had a bad experience in the past- last time when I had my home AC serviced, they put down the unit and in doing so they caused gas leakage and ultimately I had to pay for gas filling charges as well.

One of my friend told me that AC can be serviced without taking down both units and that these AC service guys are notorious for ripping pockets by adding gas filling charges.

Can anyone tell me which the best way to get AC Service? . By taking down the units or cleaning the units in place by using special polythene bags

I need to get a master service of My room AC. Can anyone also tell me about a reliable AC Service in Islamabad area?

You can do it by urself. For outdoor unit, open the front grill only and clean it with detergent in pressure sprayer (manual mister used for gardening). For indoor unit, open the front and clean the fins with common car foam cleaner.

If the cost of these things + your khwari is more than the service, then go for the service, but tell them not to open up and put down the AC.

I usually clean all the ACs of my home in june by myself.
