Guys i have done a blunder and i am very tensed please help me immediately we had a problem in the battery so i was jump starting my corolla 1.6 A/T 2012 with my other car and I accidentally connected the wires wrong and smoke came out i hurriedly disconnected the terminal And didnt satet the vehicle I got my battery charged and put it in now the car is giving check engine and is not taking acceleration what should i do what has gone wrong please experts help me i will be very greatful @Xulfiqar bhai please help me
Maybe try checking the fuses ? Where did the smoke come out from?

Terminal it self and I disconnected
Thankyou will do this but i will have to call electrition to my hone for this and tom is friday can i get this stuff from any shop and can i do this my self?
friends driver did the same thing on his LC amazonthe fix cost them 1.5 lacs. multiple sensors blew. had to change ECU as well
A blown fuse doesn't produce smoke at all. Just hope it's the fuse only.
You can use a test light or meter to check if the fuses went bad.
U need to be very careful with the terminals...i hvnt jump started and nvr will...it confuses me alot .I did the same thing with 91 mehran when i ws replacing th battery myself....smoke came with some burning smell...nothing happened though...corrected tg terminals and it started and run normall...
your friends amazon probably had the safety fuse skipped, pretty common in our part of the world, "Deerreecctt kardo isaay."and that is what screws things up.
you can do it your self if you have an understanding of basic electronics, if you don't i suggest you wait for saturday
if ECU gets blown, then how come his car is even starting? just my piece of thought..
That was a Mehran, without any sort of sensors.
