So I heard a crash and Roll over from my apartments today morning around 9am....It was very loud....Went out to see and learn that a Rickshaw came out frm a u-turn without stopping or checking, the Civic 05 couldnt stop and hit it, sending the rickshaw flying/rolling much fwd towrds the footpath .... by the time i got there (within 5mins) the rickshaw driver was taken to hospital .... the Civic was hit on front right side taking away the lights, bent fender and maybe some of radiator side, while rick was (cant explain).....car wouldn't be doing more than 60 on that road.
Civic driver maybe in 20s was in very much shock and crying while his friend was comforting him. Really feel sorry for the guy and the shock he was in.... i may sound harsh but i hv no sympathy for rickshaw driver or the bikers....they invite themselves to the hospitals
Location: Gulistan-e-jauhar, the u-turn in front of Rufi Paradise flats.
I was amazed how police got there in bullet speed and started making report.....the bullet speed is not seen though when its required.
Advise: pls be extra careful of these uneducated rickshaw drivers...approach u-turns with full caution..... i am scared too now.
Couldnt take pics coz the police and rangers didnt allow.
