Nope, the driver at the back still has to pay, you may have caused him inconvenience but the cause of the crash would still be his inability to maintain a safe distance and stop in time.

I have observed that on almost every road, footpaths and crossings are there, and they even have signals for pedestrians, and you only cross when your signal is Green.

These were introduced here on highways in major cities, Islamabad still has one in blue area.

The thing is, whatever you described is perfectly doable and understandable on single roads, not on highways and dual carriageways.
Most of our accidents take place on dual carriageways and highways where pedestrians and bike try to take the shortest possible route with no respect for the traffic or the law.(balkay in most big cities even cars do this)

In Saudia, aap sarak ke jis bhi konay se road cross kr lein, they would stop the car and give you way.First person would stop the car and turn on double indicators and the whole line follow to alert the people behind

exactly, they respect the pedestrian more than the one in the vehicle... stop signs and give way signs are also being followed there as a whole...

however, if in Pakistan you will stop in the middle of the road like that...A) a person would be crossing the road after every 300 meters...so your car will hardly move a kilometer in an hour : ) and B) even if you will brake to let the pedestrian go...the car behind you and the car behind that car and so on...will bang into each other and all will blame the one person who braked on the road to let the pedestrian go ...: ) Shit of our society

I have driven on that road so many times and when you come off Lilla interchange the madness continues all the way till Quaidabad and onwards. My father has told me to honk at every cycle/motorcycle/pedestrian/khota rehri you come across. If you don't and God forbid hit someone their first argument is why didn't you honk.
One time we were coming from Mianwali to Quaidabad late night and there were many cars stopped at the side of the road. Upon investigating we found a bus (they call it AC time) had hit a bike and ran away. The biker was laying on a charpai with two broken legs and other injuries. People there said it was good thing that the bus didn't stop otherwise these locals would go as far as to burn the bus down. Even though biker was at fault. Best way is to drive defensively. Keep your eyes peeled for bikers/pedestrians and even animals coming out from the side of the road. They don't look out for you.

You missed the part where they also just turn into the centre lane as well without looking behind for other cars.

Inna lillahi wa Inna ialihi rajeoon. May the departed souls rest in peace. Extremely painful to watch. I was in a similar accident once in 2011 in Karachi but Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah swt I made it out with out a scratch.

However, I see this is a JDM Corolla, these are usually equipped with 4, 6, or 8 airbags however, not even one is deployed. Atleast 2 front airbags are a given even in base grade. What happen to all the airbags?

The car rolled over. Aren't all airbags supposed to open in this case. I think it's probably an accidented car that was then imported, fixed and sold off.

if it has curtain airbags and airbags in rear sides etc then yes those will deploy in case of roll over but this car is with standard 2 airbags in front.

The front bumper sides are crushed, in my experience this is usually enough to deploy airbags. I think either the airbags were not present, due to being an accidental repair car, or the occupants were not wearing seat belts hence, the airbags didn't deploy.

The main reason of all this non sense in Pakistan is injustice, non adherence to rule of law and incompetence of those charged to ensure compliance thereto; as pointed out by one fellow above. Even in Islamabad / Rawalpindi License issuing offices you listen nearly everybody talking about how to get bypassed of the basic principles test (aka theory) or seen with smug faces narrating how they proudly cheated the applicability of law by calling their uncle of x or y.

and this all is about the twin cities. I have also witnessed the law being bent to the extent that license was delivered to the door step by paying Rs.4 k without moving an inch from their home in Sindh. In such scenario RIP the road safety, right of way on road and courtesy

Majority of the people here do not have any road and traffic sense. Sometimes, commuters aap k sabar ka aesay imtiha'an laitay hain k banday ko lagg jati hai, but kuj kar nai sakta.

I wish, if I could install DVR / Dashcam in my car, make videos, and upload on some platforms, so as to show, how people drive here, and how much road / traffic sense they have?

People do not know about traffic laws, and jisska jahan sey dill karta hai, ghussi aata hai, especially the bikers, rickshwas, Qing Qis, raihray, etc.

if u enter main road or high way from small road u have to stop to standstill and give way to on going traffic

Ye to common sense ki baat hai, and it must be fully ensured, but seldom happens here.

Unless / until, traffic rules, road sense, etc. are taught at gross root level, like schools, etc. I fear, situation is not turning better anytime soon.

What happen to all the airbags?

In general, I think, there could be multiple reasons for this:

1. The crash did not trigger sensors
2. Faulty sensors
3. Not wearing seat belt(s)
4. Electrical / wiring defect(s)
5. Defects in airbags modules
6. In case of JDMs here, and in most cases, they are accidental, with airbags already deployed abroad. Vehicles repaired here locally in garages, major items replaced, and then they do not have any airbags, because their modules are very costly.

I think if front airbags get deployed, whole dashboard and airbags modules need to be replaced with brand new ones...

This is the entire crux of the situation. Almost every department in our country is made in such a way that people have to waste days to get a simple task done, inorder to avoid the havoc of all that, people prefer to pay touts and get tasks done.
If most these processes were streamlined or on appointment, many who are bypassing the system would then happily go through the system

my experience is most of the imported cars sensors are not present as they are damaged or had minor damages .....so when they encounter accident this happens
