Accommodation in Islamabad F-11 for single females

Also why are people suggesting hostels in this forum? Do they restrict entry?

Well they do suggest it because it's safer, there are more people around with you, you are safer in a group than alone but you can't do most of the things you want in a hostel

I am only looking at f11 because a friend has lived there before. So I can definitely look elsewhere too. But f11 is supposed to be the safest and many working people stay there.

No. I think. F6 or F7 or E7 or F8 is the most safe place in terms of theft, robbery etc etc.

Yeah few females living alone thr. Random raids are there once in a while by Police. So you should not have any issues. Not sure about availability you may have to visit. Hostels well they are cheap somewhat sound better for females though we hear all kind of stories about them as well. All this depends on individual and thr character.

Random raids by the police! those are the worst. My sister's friend got so traumatized-she left her job after such an incident. If a few females are living alone there, I could check with them and see if they have space. Maybe I can get back to you when my move is final. Thanks.

I just talked to one person who was from Lahore and lived there for a year. Maybe she didn't know. But i think most people from other cities do stay in f11. The rental sites mostly advertise those.

I am not sure yet but most dev sector offices are near f11. They interviewed me in lahore so i haven't been to their office. I will definitely check that first before finalizing my place. Right now i am doing a preliminary search, mainly in terms of the social scene.

See. If your work place is near F6 then it's better to be a paying guest in some F6 or F7 sector. That will suit you. Even if you want to go out for evening walk or roam around alone.
That's why I am asking you for your work place because F6 to F11 distance is more than 13 to 14 km (I don't know exactly)

Err the social scene that you seem interested in(from what I can gather from your posts) is something that you will easily find in f6 and f7 because most of the famous hangouts and all are there. F 11 in that reference is quite far off from the scene.

Why don't you get a house in E7, its the safest of all the sectors in Islamabad? There is a commercial area not too far from there. If you're that into safety, the best bet is either DHA or Bahria right now. One of my friend lives in F8/4, he says that its safe community and there are loads of commercial outlets near as well. F11 is a little far off from the commercial scene.

Again, that you can find there in f6 and f7. I thought you were pushing for f11 because your office was there. Since thats not the case, even f8 is a nice place in this regard

And something is definitely getting lost in translation here. it almost seems as if the only socializing in f11 is illicit activities such as drugs and other related things, then no im not interested. Don't worry. You will be with good people. Islamabadis are mostly decent people. Once your office location is finalised, you will be more clear where to look for the accommodation. I feel F11 is far from the main city.
