After idle learn and replacing car cold air intake with its own air filter , cold start rpm is 1500 and idle is 750-800 rpms
But fuel average has dropped to 3.8

After resetting fuel average figures to zero in cl9 factory lcd , i ran car for 5 km on a test drive , car fuel average was 3.8km/l

Dear it is too low, and not the correct way of checking fuel average.

How can one check fuel average of 2000~2400 cc vehicle, by just driving it around 5 Kms?

In your particular case, I would suggest to check it from full tank to full tank basis, or at least, driving for at least 300~400 Kms.

Full the tank. Take your car on long route, or, where you can drive it continuously with peace of mind. Again refuel. Check the distance covered and fuel consumed, and calculate the fuel efficiency.

You are absolutely right
But what i did today was to gave me a vague idea about consumption ( earlier when i would do the same , it showed greater mileage in same circumstances )
Will update after driving for few days or weeks

I drove for 296 km ( in city without Ac ) , went for refuelling , 52 liters were refilled in tank
Average : 296/52= 5.69 km/l

So what was the fault bro. Mine has been doing close to 8.5 in city without ac and light foot conditions

My cl9 still gives around 5-6 kmpl , sometimes close to 6.5 kmpl in city
