Accord Cl9 fuel average issue

Accord cl9 2002 is giving 6 kmpl fuel average in city
Earlier it was near 7.5
Car has been tuned , engine oil changed , car has company fitted alloys . Overall there is no other problem in car , no smoke , no engine noises etc
I have changed the air filter to car cold air intake . Is it making the difference?

Well, I am not sure, but this can be.

I would suggest to park your car on some levelled, horizontal surface at night, and remove the -ve terminal of battery. Keep it as such for whole night. Connect in the morning. Do "Idle Re-Learn Procedure" and I am quite hopeful, your issue will be resolved. IN SHA ALLAH.

Going one step further, when you isolate the -ve terminal of the battery, cover it with some cloth, so as to avoid short-circuiting.

Take some jumper cable, and connect its one end with the battery's positive terminal and other end with the wire removed from the -ve terminal, and leave it as such.

In any case; Never, Never connect the other end with -ve terminal of the battery! It would be extremely disastrous!

what is it supposed to do? Circuit is open? Nothing is connected to Battery -ive?
What's usually advised in some cases is to connect the car cables together to deplete the capacitors faster but I didn't get this one.

On a technical side, u need to chk fuel trims, o2 sensor performance and map sensor responce, if these r within specs, then the avg is fine wrt the driving conditions. Also cat blockage and valve adjustments also matter. But before dng all these, try switching to stock air intake setup and see if it helps

oh yea, he's depleting the residual charge from the power modules and on board computers.. He could've just removed the battery terminals and shorted the +ive and -ive cables. Jumper is used when the cables do not have enough slack to touch each other...

What should be normal rpm at cold startup and idle?

In winters , average was above 7.5
During and after lockdown , it became worse and came to 6 kmpl
Car has been recently tuned , about a week ago
Fuel consumption problem is from past few months

In my car's K24A8 Accord CM5 2007 model, the normal rpms at cold startup are around 1500 (observed today), and at idling, 750~850.

After removing and reconnecting battery , my car cold started at 1700 rpms
Did idle learn and now it starts at 1500 rpm with idle at 900 rpms
Isnt 900 rpms high?
