Do you still need the honeycomb grill?. A person is selling these brand new in karachi. If need check olx in carparts section he had it up their last month he has various other Honda orignal parts aswell. Shop name tariq autos Location ph2.

I have one honeycomb grill but its repaired. And the repair work done is not good. U can see if u want to buy it.

Also have these oem grill and its cover mint condition. Not repaired and everything is spot on except a slight crack on chrome.

Car had an odd behaviour. Fan would turn on late (around 107°C) but would turn off after 10 secs even though OBD still showed it aroun 105. Car was running hot on signals/idle but would be okay on highways. Figured out that circulation wasnt good which lead me to the water pump.
Had changed the thermostat and radiator earlier on. Had flushed the heater coil as well. Water pump was the last remaining piece of the puzzle.
Changed it now and Bingo. Matter resolved.
Alhamdolillah, Reached Quetta today from Gilgit without any problem..

Removed it from a Kabli engine. Clean coolant was still inside. Got new rubber seal.

Criminal negligence by the previous owners. Water being used in the cooling sytem. That too in Karachi's rusty/humid atmosphere....
Had to bring it back from the jaws of death. Flushed the entire sytem multiple times before adding coolant. Details already discussed in this thread.

Same here. My K24 also has slight rusty deposits and I've also changed the coolant a few times in my 4 years of ownership. But few months back I got my water pump pulled out and was surprised to see that the fins were in 95% or better condition.

Got all shocks changed!

Front Tockico pair 11500 pkr (Taiwan)
Rear KYB pair 13600 pkr (Japan)

Finally I experience a comfortable ride. The previous ones were shot and each small bump on road was felt inside and there was a lot of wheelspin previously.

All of it is fixed now due to the new shocks. Braking also improved.

Also got tappets and timing checked a week ago.

Called fixmycar guys at home so that the engine is cold during tappet adjustment. All tapets were in spec.

.008 inch intake
.010 inch exhaust

Unfortunately the timing had issue. The crank pulley mark did not align. Will have to take engine out and get it fixed.

It looked something like this. Got image online as I was unable to take picture of crank pulley.

Wow that's bad. The timing cover can't be removed unless the engine is out of the car.

Brand new were around 20K. The used ones were for around 16-18K. Seemed to be in good nick.

Doing some basic sound deadening, starting with the trunk lid. The existing 'insulation' is barely a thin cover bit of noise enters through it due to thin gaps in the license plate lights bezel.
