LOCKDOWN SPECIAL
unbolted radiator fans, intake box, battery and battery tray, intake manifold cover
did a complete engine degreasing with meguairs and karcher jet washer, dried with air blower, covered throttle body and alternator, painted battery tray after rust removal, also deleted the resonator for deeper sound, after drying sprayed meguairs engine dressing and left over night to dry, then wiped off excess dressing with dry cloth, also fixed the bumper gap between headlights with a wooden piece and some magic epoxy. contact me for details if needed.

Do all 24s CL9s came with full fabric interior with manual seats?

Yes I have a feeling they all had manual seats. Mine were full fabric beige. I've seen another friends with manual seats and black suede. So I'm assuming they are all fabric. I have a feeling that 24t 24tl had half or full leather.

How's the response and power after resonator delete? There's differing views but most people say it decreases power.

Mine is also black fabric, and I tell you I prefer fabric over leather or leatherette. It's so much more comfortable and a lot more bearable in summer.

So we have a white cl 24s in the group and we both were at par during a short drag race with our resonators on. I want to go see Bilal again and have a few rolling starts with him to compare how I do without the resonator. Other than that the map sensor data isnt different for before and after at different rpms so I'm assuming flow isnt decreased atleast. Intake temps have dropped so its definitely cooler air going in. The question really is which power band has been effected. Whether its low range or the higher range getting better or worse is hard to tell aisay. I think drag race say he pata chalay ga with a stock cl9

Yes this was the other effect I was sure about. My intake temps are horrific i.e. about 55C on a fully warmed up car. Which is plausible if you feel the crazy hot air around the left side of radiator area right where it's sucking it from. No amount of cooling in the resonator (if any at all) could fix that. Resonator delete will allow it to suck air from around the left fender area which is ideal.

Hi I have 2003 Honda Accord CL9.

My AC STARTS AND THEN SHUTS DOWN AFTER 20-30 MINTS. ANY BODY KNOW THE EXACT ISSUE.

HAVE CHANGES THE AC GAS.
HAVE TAKEN OUT THERMOSTAT.
HAVE SERVICED THE RADIATOR.
HAVE TOP UP THE COOLENT.
FANS ARE DIRECT.

PLEASE HELP.

Check A/C pressure valve. May be head pressure is rising so it turns off A/C

Hello owners.

Been following the thread since 3 days. Went to see a mark x with a friend. And since then I am only wondering about a accord CL9. Read the entire thread from yesterday till now. Side by side been looking at cars on sale aswell. I get it the market varies from 10 lacks to 18 lacks. One is even for sale for 19.5 lacks.

Short listed some cars, please guide me what is average market for such a car. Or does any one has a car is sight which is a car to buy. I have seen some decent cars on this thread, Shehryar and Rahat bhais cars being my favorites.

My basic needs after going thru every thing are a decently maintained car, or a potential car which can be fixed easily comfortablly whose owner wants to let it go.

I'd be glad if the car has cruise control and it's a CL9., a body kit and euro R 17inch rims would be bonus. Rest is nothing a clean good car.

Here are short listed cars please give suggestions. I found a black on pakwheels and a grey on olx to the best ones and thinking to pay them a visit

Its says type S but from what I have read about type S this is a loaded car.

on a static car at idle the intake temps will remain 55ish. Only when u WOT it will go around 45 in my case. The interesting part was that the max temp was 56C in winter with outside air around 18-20. The max temp now is 55 with outside air around 28-30C. So i am assuming in winters i will feel the advantage of resonator deletion to the max!

Buying cl9 for more than 15-16 lakhs isn’t sensible as its a 16-17yrs old car. It would require some works here and there. But when in a good nick its a much better car in this budget where you can get corolla 2010-2012 or civic 2010-2012, which are no comparison to Accord. A friend owns one in Karachi and has recently drove it all the way to Islamabad.

The first car just has an after market Type S badge and obviously not Type S. Seems to have many many options except Navi, but it's being sold by a dealer which pretty much assures a meter reverse.

The second car is also fine, but personally the 3rd one caught my eye but he hasn't shared any interior pics.

Fourth one is a CL7 and a ridiculously high price IMO mainly because he claims original paint. Personally if I was buying I would give huge preference to CL9 over CL7 unless power is not important.

As to market, I think others can advise because i don't really keep a tab on these things. But I should add that in my almost 5years of ownership of CL, it is a very easy car to maintain and there is good support as far as mechanics and parts are concerned. My friend sold his awesome CL few months back, which I spotted on sale again couple of weeks back, let me see if the ad is still up.

Great comfy car but lacks the excitement of CL9. Plus drive wise CL9 is way too superior that this. I am not saying that its a bad car, its bigger, comfier and has more in-cabin options than a CL9 but drive wise it is a rung lower than CL9

The kind of accord you get in 15-16 lacs is the one that require an additional 75 to 150k. i recently checked a CL9 in lahore. the ad was quoted at 17.50, but on physical inspection that car was painted all over plus the quality of paint job was pathetic. The interior was also quite rough. In my view the price of a clean, genuine and well kept CL9 still stands somewhere around 19-21 lacs

That's still about 5C higher than what I get in Turbo. It's just pathetic.

Not max bro. We're talking temps on normal driving with fully warmed up car, not the highest or lowest figure.

Max I've seen in Civic even after friendly runs is around 58C whereas in Accord even in normal driving 60C to 65C is common.
