Boys help me out with this one.
When the throttle is completely pressed down my scanner is showing 80% throttle position. Shouldn't it be 100% or close to it atleast. At idle it's usually 12%.
I'm curious whether this is some error with my scanner or application or it's actually a calibration issue with the tps. What readings do you guys get at wot please help out.

Wow, I can't even imagine my IATs going below 49-50 unless it's a prolonged run without coming to a standstill. I guess I should try resonator delete sometime. I've heard a car with that delete and it did sound nice. Few months ago I drove a bit after removing this cover, and I swear I could feel better response AFTER I put it back on, so I gave up the idea of resonator delete.

No idea about that, but for starters you could make sure that there is no floor mat coming in the way. You can also uncap the APP sensor and check for throttle cable slack and also see how much its opening the APP sensor when someone floors the throttle in a switched off car. Can't imagine it will hurt anything with a switched off car.

Yeah this slack in cable thing is a good idea. I did an indirect test once. Switched ignition on and uncovered the throttle body. At full throttle the plate was vertical. So I thought it's working alright. But this 80% value is bugging the hell out of me. If the ecu is really getting this value then it must be effecting many other things too

The other thing that's obvious is that with our nonsensical tranny which is programmed for economy, there's no way the car should reach redline if indeed the throttle is at 80%. Just went thru my logs and confirmed that I don't log throttle position, so can't confirm anything.

There has to be some sort of makeshift material that you could stuff in there to make it look better?

Maybe you can swap a non info display console from a doner vehicle.

Yea there has to be. Haven't figured out yet what to put there.

I have been thinking about swapping the plastic cover from a non navi accord, but I dunno

Yeah but you shouldn't swap out because you'll lose that display. I wish my car had that, looks nice.

That's what I would've thought. As I understand, that display, navi, CD changer and amp all are designed to work together.

In that case best to find a panel without the display. Will clean up the look of your dash.

rahat bhai do u have the standard head unit like me. im interested in getting the android system finally made up my mind. was hesitating keh khi mai kaheen chori he na ho jayay.. have u done any homework on that? koi acha vendor batayain so i can try getting it delivered or something

Main reason I'm staying away is that the sound quality will be compromised. As you would know, I've upgraded the speakers and with a bit of sound proofing, it sounds real good - even though I have the standard 120W 4 speaker sound system rather than the premium 180W 8 speaker one.

One of my friends' CL had an Android system and it's a worthwhile upgrade, but not for me. I hardly fiddle with Turbo's system too. Have installed a rear cam and a simple screen plastered over CL's rear view mirror for the cam and that's all I need. Haroon Radio here (from where I upgraded my speakers) has Android system available and they offered it to me, but admitted that sound quality might be compromised.

yeah i saw in the thread somewhere about your rear view screen. was it easy to tuck the wiring for the system? was it diy or you got it installed?

Wiring is tucked, totally invisible. I just bought a camera from AliExpress and went to one of the local shops, bought a screen and had them install it. Rear cam is super important especially in my car with that big Mugen Spoiler - now I don't even understand how I lived without the cam for so many years.

Ali express is too dodgy these days with the current situation.my 2 small shipments are due since 1.5 months. But I do have a rear camera since past owner had an android then removed it. I think I'll follow ur steps for a rear view screen. Btw they also connected it to the reverse gear?
