Sir because I already have a 2015 GLI and about to receive a 2018 Altis in June, not my personal cars thus not my decision.
And especially after having the 15 GLI and 18 Altis (soon to receive) - why would I spend 3 million just for a up-spec car with the same shape regardless of the additional features for myself?.
Most importantly, for myself a Corolla (any spec) has never been a car with much road-presence. It just simply exists. It's never been one of those special cars I've actually turned back and looked upon once getting out of the car.
Most importantly: Performance figures is like comparing apples and oranges - They're both average cars honestly so this category I wouldn't even bother comparing. Added features such as LED leadlamps can easily be purchased for 100,000 (ridiculous I know) trust me look far superior to the Grande.
Civic is a CVT does it really need a bloody paddle shifter? lol.
The only Corolla I've actually loved is my Altis 2007 manual (100) - Now that was a great car (still didn't look as good as the VTI Oriels) :3
