Yeah that's something I also really hate. Thankfully my car's headlights were in good condition when I bought it. Then I got myself the facelift 'blue' headlights and even they don't have this condensation issue.

My car is non-option one so no idea if there are any issues with options. Aside from that, far as I know:

Transmission - very important as Accords of that era throughout the world have had these issues. Symptoms are jerky shifts (upshifts and downshifts) and transmission slipping
Timing chain tensioner - this is also a global issue with K24 but I don't know if we had this here. It will destroy the engine of course but don't think there are any symptoms
K24 oil consumption - some K24s have had oil consumption issues out of the factory

That's all I can think of. Aside from these would be the usual stuff that anyone would check while buying a used car. Maybe other colleagues can chime in here.

Checking the health of engine and transmission is most important.
Other than what @Rahat083144 has said check fol:
1. Engine mounts (expensive replacement).
2. All interior/electronic features.
3. Suspension including steering assembly(leakages and play in steering).
4. Condition of radiator.
5. Body rust condition.

Just a few days back I was looking into a Mercedes C Class - found one in Lahore. Was a 2008 with a face-lift and mint condition. Apparently it got sold to someone, now its back again on the advertisements with a tampered-meter and price hike of 5 lacs from the initial asking. First of all it depends what spec you're going for. If you're going with one with no options (which I wouldn't recommend personally) - You really don't have to worry much about the electronics besides VSA etc.

• K24 - Technically they're a solid engine, longevity at its finest.
• Rust is to be checked properly, even if you have to open up spaces to check.
• Suspension should not be compromised otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the actual luxury-drive.

I think @Rahat083144 and @viking85 have summed it up quite well.

Personally I'll only recommend a full spec'd out CL9, the Premium Sound System, Heated-Seats, Sun-Roof (etc) are just too good of a features to miss out on. I seriously hope that you actually consider this car and join the Club!

I would absolutely love to own a fully loaded vehicle but haven’t come across any such cars till now, I won’t even care about the registration city if I get my hands on a good vehicle. The ones I came across are quite basic tbh.

What's interesting (and unfortunate) is that as much as it's hard to find a good cl9 when you want to buy, it's equally difficult to sell one. My car had been up on pakwheels for quite some time and i ended up moving abroad without selling it since the offers i got were mostly ridiculous

Brother mine's a JDM import, purchased from Honda Clio Yokohama. Yes it has heated seats for both front passenger and driver - Important fact: They both work perfectly fine, warms you up quite well in the winters!

I think it depends on car-to-car and features offered. I've got offers for 16-18 just this year and I'm simply not interested in selling. Everyone's selling experience is quite different atleast in my opinion but InshAllah I hope you manage to sell yours as per your demand because yours surely is a well-kept CL.

Exactly! When i wasn't interested in selling i would get offers every time i stopped at a car shop or even petrol stations. Alll the time. The point is cl9 enthusiasts are hard to find now. Which is unfortunate for a beauty like this. Most people think it's a fuel guzzler..... which it isn't in comparison to reborn, gli auto and altis

Heated seats were part of the full leather package i.e. cars that came with "full" leather interior unlike ours which only had leather on the side bolsters and head rests. Where you headed buddy?

Even I was getting ridiculous offer when I sold my last year. The problem is the used car dealer mafia that has fixed the price for "any" CL at 1 - 1.1 million max. People come and see your car, they consult a used car dealer and are quoted that kind of amount by showroom guys. It's a slow seller, takes months but you'll find a genuine buyer inshallah.

One guy offered 0.9 million for mine. Damn! I hung up the phone in anger. And he was calling from Bahawalpur.

Sir funny story, I was actually at the car-wash a few days back and a white CL9 rolled up as well. Ik jinab dealer sahab gaari mai aye thai, I've seen the guy around so I knew who he was. I didn't bother exhanging words with him though aap sirf us dealer ki Accord ki condition deekhtay 0.9 Million ki hi honi thi woh gaari lol. - Problem is, market is so toxic with absolute rekt CL's that the over-all price has been destroyed.

I have this card programming on my list as well. Reprogramming this is a 5 min job using Gscan device. But people take a lot if amount for this. Anyways this can be done in Rwp saddar (near wasim autos) as well, if youre from rwp. A guy named Kamran. He will charge more.
In islamabad autokey is the place. He'll charge less. Should be around Rs 3000.Seemed like a decent educated guy once i talked to him. Here you go. 0333 3500308
