AOA, need opinions from old Accord owners. Recently, I got an offer of a silver Type S 2006 Accord for 15.5 Lacs. Should I go for it? Car has less than 135,000 on the odo and car has all the bells and whistles (except a sunroof). And yes, the car is in its original paint, no touch-up or whatsoever. Also, the owner claims to get 13-14 KM/L on long routes. Is it possible? Kindly advise. Thanks!

My bad, it's actually a 2005 pre-facelift one. Though the seller says that it's a 2006. I'll share the pictures as my dad has them. Anyways, is it good for this price?

Depends upon the car, but that price bracket entails that it needs to be something special.

Paint might be original but there's no way a possible 2006 Accord import has survived without getting touchups. If you haven't seen the car in person, I suggest that you have a closer look into it.

If the car's in perfect condition, 1.5 million is a reasonable price to pay honestly.

I'll have to drive the car to know better - if the car drives perfectly and outperforms my CL9 considering its a Type S (not Euro R which is wrong) - and most importantly suspension | engine | electronics components have not been compromised I'd pay the asking without even bargaining.

I believe in paying the right premium price for a product which rightfully deserves it.

I don't know the owner - I don't know his car; this is a unbiased opinion.

And just FYI brother, no it doesn't have all the bells and whistles - bodykit - rims - Honda (Recaro - though not sure) seats - Momo Steering - Navigation; basically that's the specifications on this particular car which doesn't even bring it close to a fully spec'd out CL9.

I would recommend you to read majority of @viking85 @Rahat083144 @munirhusain and my comments regarding Accord's before purchasing. It might serve you as a guideline or a benchmark for the car's value.

And yes if you're satisfied with what the owner is telling you (if they seem like a reasonable and honest person) - pay the price

This car looks quite clean no doubt and it's got the factory body kit, Mugen spoiler, OEM 17" rims and facelift headlights. My car has all these and personally all these are a real plus as far as looks are concerned. The other thing I look at is engine, and its engine seems to be quite clean too - but I guess it has a cold air intake which means it would be bit loud. Interior also looks fine but Momo steering means it doesn't have steering wheel controls and Recaro seats I've heard are not too comfortable. The stock front seats of CL9 are awesome so they would be a huge miss here.

Rest, it's best to drive the car to form your own opinion and we've already given our comments regarding price. Accord CL9 is a real gem and I'm sure if you buy one one day, you'll love it.

I bought mine for 13 back in 2015. But it doesn't have bucket seats and honestly I've never ever seen a CL7 or CL9 with bucket seats, other than this particular car. That's why I'm baffled because until now I believed only Euro R had bucket seats.

Just a word of experience, this car was up for sale when i was first looking for a CL9 back in oct/nov last year. Still not sold. Just an observation, not necessarily anything wrong. Ive seen cars getting sold within weeks.
And do not take the owners word for anything. Check the body (may be arrange a denter/painter) in detail coz that is the reason he is demanding so much.
It doesnt have cruise control, steering controls. If you're looking for a family car these front seats would be uncomfortable. These are the -ves.
If it really is untouched (which is rare), only then you can think about paying anything close to what he is demanding.

I saw its ad back in February 2018 and talked to the owner. He said that he was going to Canada and wanted to sell the car. He then removed the ad. The ad became active again a few weeks ago. I guess he's just asking too much. I'll try to bring the price as low as possible. In the meantime, are there any Accords CL-9, preferably type s, for sale in Islamabad under 14 lacs. Your help would be appreciated
