Yes, reason is that it had many panels repainted. I don't care about that, because especially here in Karachi you could easily get a scrape while driving your newly bought car home! CL9 is a beast and if it has been into a serious accident, the drive will tell you. So I always look for mechanically fine cars with touchups, cuz they cost less and are less of a headache.

What average are you getting? On a light foot?

The realistic average you'll ever get on a light foot within city without AC is 7-8-9 (hardly ever) km/l and with AC 6-7-8km/l - Anyone claiming more lol, I find it hard to believe especially with a K24.

Anyone claiming to be getting 10 or 11km/l in the CL9 within city drive is blatantly lying lol.

That's why I'm baffled because until now I believed only Euro R had bucket seats.

I've never seen a CL9 Type S with the Recaro and Momo steering wheel off the factory line - only Euro R's with their red Euro R cluster, and the Euro's come with their Grey-tone rims - this does seem quite questionable tbh.

I've noticed the Euro R badges lol - it's like slamming on a AMG badge on a CDI lool which I find ridiculous.

Replacing the seats and steering for the euro R one. Especially the steering, as the original one has far more functionality than the sports one. (I don't like how the sports steering looks).

No that is indeed a Momo sport steering which comes stock with the Euro R package.

I can't speak on behalf of the owner, maybe he believed that cruise-control and multi-media function's weren't his cup of tea lol - which are probably one of the best features you can have, especially that cruise-control.

Again hypothetically speaking maybe those functions stopped working and he decided to swap them out with the sport-steering wheel to hide or mask the dysfunctional features lol.

Honestly I can't say - though I like the Euro R (especially those Recaro seats, might be uncomfortable but I'm used to them) - features being offered BUT still it isn't a Euro R.

I mean if you really want a scooped up performance CL get yourself a true Euro otherwise go for the CL9 with comfort and luxury features. This cross-hybrid of a vehicle might have you double minded over the period of time. Again just my personal opinion which will differ from yours.

Usually CL9's being sold and owners demanding anything above 1.5 million will have vast features to offer - again my perception of the market.

In reference to the old-ad, the car does look quite clean (but again a washed up car from (outside-inside-enginebay) will indefinitely look clean - doesn't take a Einstein to figure that out. You should consider checking it out, be absolute certain that the car is functioning up to the mark that you won't have to drop in 0.2 or 0.3 million right away because trust me I've had friends making mistakes of buying cars which they "thought" were clean and functioning well but on the contrary they were nothing but trashed out beaten cars; especially the CLs.

I personally have horrible stories which I've witnessed myself of other people and trust me after that I've always been in doubt considering our people and the audacity they portray with just suspicion.

The guy did list cruise control on the list of options but then, how would you use it. Swapping the steering for a MOMO one makes no sense even if the original features stopped working. He could've fixed them as the car seems to be well taken care of. Secondly, I need an automatic one with the tiptronic transmission. Don't need a manual one.

Brother pictures and reality differ by a huge margin, that's why I'm urging you to check it out in person if you're actually very interested.

And no you can't use cruise control without the OEM steering lol - I think the owner should just remove that from the list of features offered.

Yes, you're right. I'm busy with my exams and they'll end on 11th June. As soon as they end, I'll go to Sargodha and check out the car myself.

And i am back. The car got free at 1 am :p. Here is the list of things i got done today:

Change transmission oil. Couldnt find transmission filter. Vicky85 was really helpful and searched a lot for it but it wasnt available in pindi. But he told me it would be available at honda avenue so will check there.

Changed coolant.

Changed engine oil and filter

Changed ac filter

Hids issue fixed

Viper blades

Bulbs in brake lights

Panel fixed. There was an issue with the grips. Now touch screen is working perfect. Ac controls etc working fine. And the average mileage its showing is 10.4 km per litre.

Cd rom had to be changed. Cost me 10k for a replacement.

Moved cd rom to side panel. Installed a pioneer single din pre with blue tooth, aux and usb.

Installed new speakers in front doors and rear.

Transferred amps and woofer from my swift to the cl9

Issues with central locking fixed.

Great going bro. Must have been hectic but i think you would be feeling good. Went to "Motor Clean". Put a cam inside the catcon. Later got the cat opened. Thankfully it was already in a good state. Didnt need a clean as the mesh looked open, no clogging. Looked recently cleaned. Took pics.

I still havent filled the tank. The tank was almost half full when the seller handed me the car. Which is very rare. Most of the people hardly leave enough fuel to reach a petrol pump!!
Will check the mileage once i refill the tank. Which will probably be monday.
