I love to keep the paintwork upto the mark so I keep it with the max care I can do. I used to give it regular detailing sessions and all. Moreover me and a dear friend coated it with Kamekazi Ceramic Coating a few months back but again only a coating won't create much of a shine or gloss unless your paint's base is not prepared.

A serious question here, Do any of the Honda Accord CL's come with VSA that doesn't require a button? i.e it stays on all the time.

VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) along with Traction Control helps your car to avoid Under or Oversteer, when you accelerate the car and if you get wheel spin or under or oversteer while driving/cornering, the lights comes on that indicates the system is working properly. And if your VSA light is constantly ON, you might need to get it check. I'd say to start with resetting your ECU, and if that doesn't work, get a scanner to sort out.

Thank you for the info. But the thing is, I don't have an Accord yet. I've been searching for one for a long time and recently saw an accord, which the owner claims, to have a built-in VSA (remains on). Just wanted to check with you people whether what he's saying is true or not.

Built-in doesn't means it should keep ON all the times, ask him if thats the case, why doesn't the ABS light comes ON all the times?

I know, but I haven't seen a VSA switch inside his Accord. Yet he insists that his car has VSA.

If there's no VSA switch then maybe the cluster is swapped.

There's no such thing as a built-in VSA in the Accord, the button for the activation and deactivation is located on the right-hand-side of the steering-wheel, usually where (aftermarket) fog-light button is placed for other cars in one of those provision-panels.

VSA sign on indicates VSA is not working. There is some error in car. Get it scanned.

I had it on for a day or two and VSA was not working. Even with the switch the light didn't go. After scanning and resetting the ECU it went away and VSA started to work normally.

Hello CL owners,
I am also driving a CL9 that was parked at my brother's place as a 3rd car for some years before I needed one and he passed it to me reluctantly. Its great to see a forum on the car here. I am trying to bring it to my taste so a few cosmetic and some technical questions:
1. This is recent. I parked my car in the office and guard told me brake lights are on. I checked the light switch and it was off. I was in a hurry so I just disconnected the two tail light and one center light (mounted in rear window). I guess the brake switch might have gone bad. Any ideas where it is located?

The front bumper needs to be adjusted/replaced. I see some gaps from the lights. any tips to get that done and costs?
Any recommended place to get suitable/pretty rims that would suit the car

will appreciate any and all help, thanks.

Front bumper can easily be adjusted through a denter - maximum PKR500 - depends on your generosity though, can exceed.

Suitability and personal preference is key to choosing the right rims for your CL9. If I were you I'd just go for the OEM Euro or OEM Luxury-package rims instead of the fake-chinese knock-offs being sold in the market. OEM's might set you back PKR50,000-70,000 just rims - depending on availability, condition and sellers-mood.
