Guys I am planning some major maintenance work in view of my upcoming move to Gilgit-Baltistan. Wanna make it trouble free for next 2 years. Works include:
Mechanical
1. All front suspension bushings needing replacement specially Control arm (chimta).
2. Tie rod ends if required to be replaced.
3. I previously replaced the mount on tranny side. Still some vibration. Will replace front, rear and timing belt side mount.
4. Thinking about timing belt replacement alongwith Waterbody replacement. Depends if timing belt is in good condition I may skip this.
5. Brake pads. Please suggest good quality tried and tested pads which cost less than OEM. Ive seen various pads (OEM, Nisin, TRW and others asuki, mk etc).
6. Wipers replacement. Suggestions needed.
7. I saw a small gap between the exhaust header and catcon once i got the cat checked. Will get it sorted out. The exhaust note seems a little off. Any reliable exhaust/silencer works shop in rwp. Need suggestions.
Cosmetic
1. Front bumper adjustment, repair and paint.
2. Paintwork on my trunk has a fade spot. Thinking about getting it repainted along with front bumper.
3. Will get a red honda emblem for trunk to match the front one.
Interior
1. Steering and gear knob leather stitching.
2. Replacing the dashboard clock panel with non navigation piece to remove the gap above android headunit.
Will be 2-3 days job. Paint job may take more time.
Need guidance on serial 5,6 and 7.
