Yes I know, I'm saying that all this proves that there is nothing else that a user can do. In my case I've already shown it to various mechanics and have spent a lot of time (during these 4000 kms or so) to research and form my own judgment and sadly what I have concluded is that tranny replacement is the only way.
Plus my car is mostly used for short trips within DHA Karachi so I'm not exactly fussed about it giving up on me suddenly. Was at the mechanic today and again told him about my planned May timetable for tranny change.
CL9 is reserved for my 'keera' as Civic is new and I don't like to do panga with new cars. I've done a PCV re-route, so to speak. Drove a couple of days after the panga and was at the mechanic to secure all the vacuum lines that I had played around with over the weekend.
