Man you have some awesome polishers.

Do not go for 110v power tools. Tools won't be able to deliver complete power if the converter is not good. Also a converter is generally bulky and it will be a headache to move it around when polishing around the car.

If you plan to detail professionally, then go for Rupes DA. I prefer 21 mm throw as it has more torque. Due to long throw it is challenging to use on certain curves and tight areaa and requires good technique.

If you just plan to be a weekend warrior then go with low cost chinese DAs. Vertool DAS21 is very good. liquidelements also has good DAs.

Try to get polisher from Europe or the East. Don't spend 50k on Meg's.

Silver colour was scratched and text erased on buttons. Had plenty of options: buying new online or kabli replacement. Thought should give DIY a try first. If it looks okay, may as well stick with it for the time being.

Steering controls installed after vinyl wrapping. I think they're looking okay. No need to replace i guess. Got the steering wheel and gear stick wrapped as well.

Can anyone suggest me if I can go for CL7, 2003? Is it a good machine. Availability of parts, fuel consumption, taxes etc?

Brother, I would suggest you to go for CL9 instead of CL7. Availability of parts is no issue at all. Please go through the thread, you'll find the experienced users' point of view on these mentioned aspects and their satisfaction as users. Token Taxes are minimal around Rs 500 for Isd regn and around Rs 1500 for Kci number. Fuel consumption varies on driving style and environment generally around 7-8 for city driving and around 11-12 on highway with ac.

Exactly i am also of the same opinion that once u r opting for Accord that is an out of market car as well then opt for CL 9, atleast u will feel the pleasure of Accord in true sense. If i would be at your place i would have never gone for CL 7 no matter how cheap it is available. The tag of CL 9 and the real pleasure it gives has no match.

I was exactly in this situation 3 years ago - Thai or CL9. Preferred CL9 shape just slightly. But when I learned that Thai has K24A4 and CL9 K24A3, my decision became easier. Thai engine has lower compression ratio, lower redline and is rated at 165 hp compared 190 for the CL9. CL9 is also smaller which i actually prefer. Thai has set fixed features whereas CL9 comes in many variants with huge difference in features / options.

Main problem with CL9 is transmission going toast, which is a bit common. Aside from that, personally I went for a low option model - but best to get yourself a full option one. Aside from that, firstly because I was looking for non option model so less items to check, and secondly I back myself for bringing the car up to condition, I didn't look too closely. Others can advise better on more detailed things to check.

Compare CL9

I don't know about you but the only car I'll be comparing a CL9 to is with a Mark X - Two different worlds, Mark X slightly more expensive considering you don't opt for a 300G Premium and stick with a 250G.

• Since you've previously owned a CL9 before, I doubt there's much I can offer here - I'm sure you'll be able to recognise a lemon from a mint knowing you've owned one.

@ali.iqbal1 Finally found a good cl9 metallic grey color full cruise control and + its has some extension button on steering one button is for voice control ..will upload pics soon as excise office is closed so ..didn't get it today.. INSHA ALLAH on monday ..beast is home.. 2005 pre facelift model 121000 on odometer ..just some scratches on bumper and below conners he said got hit it with a stone yesterday ..as in previous pictures it is not there..over haul good deal all the function are working..engine is in good condition but little dusty from inside..but interior is sratchless not even a single scratch even after using light didn't see any major sratch..its odd but not even a single piece is sprayed or touch
