i didn't get it, can you eloborate... i had no extra things install in my car .. but when all the light are on car start to saying low battery.. i replaced the battery with ags 60 ...sholud i go with 75 or 80 , i had a alternator issue ...i had recently repaired the alternator.. should i replace the alternator with new one ,.. from where i find the new alternator in rawalpindi or islamabad..

I got my alternator replaced in May. Its been working fine so far. Saleem, my mechanic, got a kabli alternator from mithu Khan ahaata for around 6000 pkr.

my local mechanic repaired the alternator.. by putting catout and assembly of civic generator.. now i am regreting my decision.. and which battery is you are using is it 60..75,,or 80

Alright fellas... here's the update on that CL9 that I went to inspect yesterday. Went there-> Excitedly... Came back -> Disappointed

It was a base model CL9 (Type S) with FF 17 inchers. Fabric interior and no sunroof. Car didn't had VSA either. I thought that came standard on all CL9s. Exterior was okayish but the interior was an absolute let down because it was full of dirt and grime. Rahat bhai, If I'd taken you along, your OCD would have taken you through the roof

The mileage was genuine at 75000km because the vehicle were occasionally used. It had the smart entry option but owner didn't had the smart card. CD changer had a stuck CD in it. Another sign of negligence. Part of front grill was missing. Engine bay was pretty clean though. Didn't test drove it but the shifts from P -> R-> D seemed smooth.

Looks like this CL9 hunting isn't going to take me anywhere. Someone who is craving for more than 140hp (that's the R18 output) I'm thinking of saving up and go for a slightly used Turbo early next year. That car can be financed easily too.

Seems like this car you saw is pretty much exactly my car's spec. Factory Type S with body kit and 17s, but no option whatsoever. I actually prefer fabric interiors as that's much more comfy.

Dirty interior and signs of negligence - thats another story altogether! Hate that.

To me, size is a huge deterrent to cars like W211. CL9 is my daily driver and, in Karachi at least, you feel every inch of Civic X being larger than the CL9. W211 is gonna be worse.

The other thing regarding Turbo - it will surely satisfy the need for speed but lately the 'class' gap between CL9 and Civic X has been getting wider and wider as far as I am concerned. You just don't get that premium feel driving the X. For starters, the noise insulation is worse than even Grande - both ambient and road noise is a lot more present in X.

i have seen that CL-9 and even took test drive of it, the engine and drive was awesome, i personally like fabric seats so was not a big deal for me, when i saw it the interior was darn clean, the head liner from left side was slightly coming off and we had doubt on the corner of bonnet being touch up, the guy seemed like dealer to me they had lovely beautiful big house with heaps of other cars thus explaining the low original mileage.

Yeah dealer makes things real fishy. Personally, in a car this old, I simply check the fundamentals and the fact that car is kept with 'tameez' - and then hop in! Hard work finding a car that seems flawless, if its THAT old.

Shukar Allhumdulillah I don't live in Karachi, neither would I ever want too - And yes you're absolutely correct about the X feeling like crap (in comparison to Japanese and German luxury sedans) coughs. I would've definitely grabbed myself a used Benz instead of a brand-new X but there other aspects to think as well besides just luxury, class, comfort etc. Finances being my first priority and I just couldn't afford spending over the top for a used Benz considering I have to maintain the CL9 alongside.

Fully understand your Karachi views, as I'm Islamabad born (and raised) . And yeah, as a car fan, I have to admit there are lots of 'practicality' concerns when buying a car. PKDM is a sound decision - flawed as they are.

Baqai bhai, any particular reason for not buying this CL? The bolstering on the driver seat was pretty hard which indicates the genuine 75K odo.

And talk about the inventory over there. Boy o Boy o Boy!

Recently learned about a 2007 E90 BMW 3 series with genuine 29,000 km on the odo. Car was under the personal use of some senior guy in a finance company. Damn! The car couldn't be financed so didn't had any choice

its AGS N60... its a alternator problem will inspect it from my home town mechanic soon.
