Turbo is literally skating

You've had your Turbo for 2 years, mines at 3600KM approx. and it's just going left and right with a moderate throttle. I can't imagine running these over 10,000KM, I would gladly dump some cash for a pair of brand-new tires but I just don't see the value in it at the moment. Tire change worth 60K to replace brand-new tires just doesn't make any financial-sense, if you feel the drift.

• On the other hand, Continental's on the Accord are simply sublime.

I wouldn't trust the current tires on motorway. There are cracks on sides of two tires. Tread is fine but i am changing coz i doubt the structural integrity of these.
I have used 3 brands on my swift till now;

Pirelli. It was awesome for first 10k kms. Very quiet and grippy. After 10k, the grip was still great but they became very noisy so changed them.

Yokohama blue earth. I couldnt find advan db so tried blue earth. Was an ok tire. Nothing too good. But not too bad either. Changed after 50k km

Currently using goodyear. Amazing tire. Loving it till now.

My tire shop has also been recommending Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance. But I'm stuck on Contis and Yoko.

Personally it's very hard to move away from Advan dB but these days I'm being quoted 17-18k for UC6 215/50 17 and 21-22k for Advan dB V552 same size, which is a huge price difference.

Ride must be quite choppy despite the amazing suspension setup of accord. Sidewall of 45 is indeed quite thin for Khi roads. Expansion joints and those horrible potholes do a terrific beating on the suspension

Yup, I can feel a clear difference when I hop into Civic, despite those BGs. Accord is choppy.

I talked to the guy. The kit is made of fiberglass so not buying it anyways. Will keep looking for the genuine one.

It is difficult to find non smuggled advan db here. Mostly places have yoko blue earth and i dont like that tire. I will try to find uc6 tomorrow, otherwise would go for mc5.

So here's the update - last night I had a ride in a friend's tuned Civic Turbo where he installed Conti UC6 last week. Loved the tires! Such a huge difference with my stock tires - felt so soft like carpet even though mine are 215/55R16 and those were smaller sidewall 215/50R17. Car went upto 185 like a breeze, in D with AC on and 3 people on board and grip felt so solid it was untrue.

UC6 are about 4k cheaper per tire than V552 - I'm sold on UC!

Guys came back today from Gilgit today to take along the princess to GB (which I had left earlier in rwp). The CL is going to Gilgit on Saturday through Babusar Pass. Bought spare set of brake pads. Wanna change the battery and oil before move. I usually use AGS. Any other options and what amperage battery for the CL9?

The battery rating here in Pakistan is a bit inflated. 65AH is the written rating being used in Civic 9th gen (even though the battery actually has lesser AH rating).
I believe the battery rating for accord here would be around 100 ah??...

try and find yokohama japan Bluearth A AE50. its superior to advan DB and a very good tyre

tired of find transmission filter for accord cl9 while searching online found it on daraz by chance..ordered 2 one is fitted in my accord ..one i had it spare for later use. it of geniue quality .. same weight and mechanic check the quality before installing.indeed it is a good quality.

That doesn't look like a tranny filter for the CL9 - considering your tranny is prone to a disaster if mingled with incorrectly, I suggest you save yourself the headache and go buy yourself a genuine filter.

Recommended place: Honda Avenue (if you can't find it anywhere else).

bro this is automatic transmission filter.. and its just as same shape of my orginal accord cl9 filter..
it is off very good quality bro !
and i gurrentee you its the tramission filter.
because i am not careless about my accord

That IS a tranny filter bro. 25430-PLR-003 mujhe tou ab product code bhi yaad ho gya hai. Cant comment on the quality though. And yes, considering the tranny problems I've faced and heard about, its best to get a genuine one. I also bought 2 filters off Aliexpress but never installed them. Still lying with me.
