A super clean CL9 Type S was up for sale in Lahore since long. Black color and fabric interior. No other goodies like electric seats or sat nav. That ad disappeared like two weeks ago.

Mileage was around 125k km and the guy started from 2.2M and eventually dropped the price to 1.7M.

5000 kms. It normally takes about 8 months for my car to get to 5000 kms, which is a long time. That's why, as added insurance I pour this Group IV fully synthetic oil.

5000 kms? Don’t you think its waste? It should be 10000km or 1yr whichever comes first. Because at 5000kms this oil even doesn’t cross its cleaning stage.

It's an old engine bro. We cant simply apply a general logic to it. 0W30 in a 15 year old engine, with consistent warm weather, short driving cycles. Not to mention fuel dilution, where on one hand you are losing oil through PCV, on the other hand the blowby is adding junk to the oil every time. Just remove the EGR plate of any K engine and you will understand. Cleaning is the last thing you worry about when using an oil which is much more advanced than what existed when the K engine was designed.

Thanks for the input. Isn't 1.7M a little too steep for CL9? My idea was around 13-14 for a clean (free from major issues) car.

W Salam. From my research I can see that there are a lot more cars available in Karachi. There are a couple of Type S cars listed here on pakwheeld from Karachi as well. Finding a clean Accord nowadays is a challenge in itself. Good luck with your purchase.

Sorry, there are no clean CLs left in Karachi anymore. I've been on the lookout (casually) for over a year now.
No luck!

In fact, last night I saw my ex-CL7 on the road after about 1.5 years and was completely devastated to see the condition. Horrible is a word that cannot describe the vehicle condition

Route via Kaghan, Naran and Babusar top (the one i traveled on) is better. But it'll be closing in mid oct due to snow. The other route via KKH (Besham) will be open. But i wouldn't advice travelling on that.It has large road patches under construction after Besham. Hardly see any cars on KKH, other than a few Corollas

Yes bro. I bought a mid price / condition CL9 and then brought it up to my taste. Waiting for a great CL9 these days is gonna be like forever. So anyone who wants to jump in will definitely have to take a bit of a risk.

Guys i need assistance regarding price check...i was looking for a CF4 and the fellow is demanding 11.50 ....engine has been replaced with a kabuli F20b interior is good ....exterior bumpers are in bad shape...what should be the price car is KCI registered.....i know its difficult to price such vehicles as they go only as much the buyer is willing to pay
