Bro mine is the 'saadi wali' CL9 as far as features are concerned, so others can chime in with respect to that.

Transmission issue is the first thing that comes to mind. Should be no harsh shifts, funny sounds on gear change, etc. Some K24 engines had oil consumption issues straight out of the factory, but i haven't heard many cases here though. Then there are many variants of K24 and K20 so need to make sure you're getting the 'real' CL9 engine, which is K24A3. Other than these, I can't think of any pet CL problems. Just look for the usual stuff, as in any other car.

I am lucky because I have some good mechanics. This coupled with the fact that, in my experience, CL parts (both genuine and kabli) have pretty reasonable availability - means that one should be able to take good care of the car after purchase. Also, in my experience its parts are no more expensive than 8th Gen Civic or 10th Gen Civic, both of which I have kept.

A good CL9 is 13 to 14 is close to impossible , atleast in islamabad/ pindi. Don't know about karachi as moat of the cars there are totally rusted and not in appreciable condition. I have a CL 9 Black partially showered but in excellent condition no work needed with Single digit Isb number. I got an offer of 16 lac a few days back, the buyer was inclined due to color and number. However, as i was not interested to sale so i excused from him. He himself told me that he has seen around 14 accords so far but couldnt find immaculate one below 16 lac.

Does anyone have an experience with Nissin Brake Pads for thr Honda Accord?
My queries are that
1) Do they worn out quickly?
2) Do they have good braking?
3) Do they cause any problem such as brakes smell or heated brakes?

Yes I've had similar experience. Accord eats up brake pads very quickly. Somehow I can feel it while driving too - car just wants to keep fighting the pads and keep going, so you have to press deeper than you would like.

Yes exactly that's why I'm thinking of putting in the Nissin Pads from now. As genuine brake pads have no life and the price difference is huge

I am using nissin pads. Came installed with the car. Ive driven 6000 km uptil now since may 18. Braking is okay. Wear is normal. So far so good. Bought a spare set of the same pads as well.

Hello. Can you guys recommend any workshop in Islamabad/Rawalpindi for pre purchase inspection. Need to get the car checked for transmission/engine and error codes through OBD scanner. A focal person and expected charges would be much appreciated. @viking85 @ali.iqbal1

Visit Nazir Auto's in G8. A person named "Sattar" would be available. Get ut checked through him.
They do charge high for services but I don't think he'll charge more than 1-1.5k for inspection

Lol yeah, that's what I meant when I said above that one needs to make sure which K variant the car is actually running.
