fixed the headlights myself last night and now its "thats the way i like it"
Procedure
Moved the car upto the porch wall with front bumper touching the wall
turn on light, low beam
put roughtly 1ft long peice of paper tape (masking tape) on wall (horizontally) where headline is pointed
using pencil, mark most brightest point on the tape
do the same with both headlights
move car away, straight backwards (ideally 25ft but i had ~18fts)
now adjust the light so that beam is still aligned with the masking tape put on wall with most concentrated point where you had marking on tape
When car is 25ft away, the beam should be pointed 1 inch lower than the tape to avoid blinding incoming traffic, but as I had 18fts, I lowered a bit less than 1 inch (around 3/4 inch)
Turn on high beam and re-adjust lights (specially for horizontal alignment). After making adjustment at high beam, re-check low beam and adjust as required
take you car out and enjoy adjusted lights
Did this all in 30 minutes and my 2 year old continusly told her mama that "baba garee theek ker rahay hain"
