Advance number plate of Suzuki Khyber. Should I buy or not?

I am looking for a Suzuki Khyber car to buy and just found one car 95 model which is very much ok in condition but the problem is that car is previously owned by any army officer and was sold to civilian. So as we know that civilian can't own that army or government number plates car so for that he has to registered the car and he got a plate of B series it is like this BPL-223 (not the exact one I mentioned due to privacy). With that he does not have its sale invoice and sale certificate in car documents. So can I buy this car? I mean is that true that these car have low resale and police will make you annoy by stopping you car and asking about the number plate? PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW!

check the registration details on excise website. if match with the documents and everything then no harm in buying.

a 1995 Khyber with regn number from 2005 onwards?? Check complete details of documents, scrutinize the papers under microscope.

Military auction vehicles are required to be registered within 180 days of auction. The auction vouchers clearly indicate the clause. Respective exicse office cross match the date and reverify if the 180 days time period lapsed.

Auction documents shall be part of file if the officer has registered the vehicle in his name upon auction.

don't get scammed only if gentleman claim to be a serving or retired officer. He too may have got conned by somebody if registration papers are incomplete.
