Part 1
On this Saturday (4th Feb 2012) we headed for Nathiagali at 8am from Faizabad on Toyota Hiace- public transpert service. Our plan was to attempt Mushkpuri via Lalazar to enjoy snow trekking & live snowfall as it was heavy snow forecast. When we reached Chittamor- snowfall was going on & it was already a couple of inches snow there. As we moved ahead- intensity of snowfall kept on increasing & reads were getting tougher & tougher to travel on. However ice clearing machinery kept on its work of clearing snow from roads. But when we turned left from Kuldana (Murree- Abbotabad road)- there was no sign of ice clearing machinery & road was under heavy blanket of snow. Our Hice could goto Baarian only & it stoped there. Now as Nathiagali was quite far away- we had no other option except to think on alternates. So alternatively, we decided to trek from Baarian to Murree (around 11km). Deciding this- we took our breakfast at Baarian and started out trek/ walk towards Murree.
