Advice Needed : Murree, Muzaffarabad ,Kalam Tour from Karachi in Jan-2017

Me & My friend planning one week tour of Murree, Muzaffarabad, Kalam in Jan-17
It will be our first tour, we do not have any idea about Weather Conditions,Public transport routes, NOCs, Costs ,Hotel expenses etc etc
We are totally FARIGH

We have planned as follows:
Karachi--Pindi--Murree--Muzaffarabad--Besham--MalamJabba--Kalam--Bahrain--Mingora--Pindi--Karachi

Definitely from Karachi to Pindi we will travel by Train
But we are not sure whether we rent single vehicle for complete tour from Murree and onwards
or we should go for public transport.
We are also not sure should we go for a car or a 4x4

We are intended to visit the following attractions near Kalam:
mahodand, kandol,USHU lake, Matiltan

I have gone through various threads but didn't find any trip in the Month of Dec or Jan
Our trip route is also slightly unique so I created a new Thread

Also guide me about attractions near Besham
All suggestions are welcomed.

Muzaffarabad to Besham? and then Malam Jabba? plz have a look at the map before planning your itinerary. Your plan is too ambitious and impractical it seems. Plan to visit Kashmir and muree or alternatively Swat, Malam Jabba and kalam etc

Muzzafarabad is not a worth visiting place. You will ruin your first trip. I suggest just go for Kalam, but you might not able to reach Mahodand since road is normally blocked due to glacier at Matiltan during snow season. Kandol is zero% possibility. My colleagues tried last year despite my since advice and they ended up with a flop trip (just khujjal and Khwari). Still you would be able to enjoy snow at Kalam and ushu forest. Do see the map before plan your itinerary

Thanks for your advice bro actually I didnt have the idea about the routes that's why posted this thread, as i planned this route with google maps as per the sequence of the places being appeared on the map.

We can cut the Besham and Muzafarabad
Karachi--Pindi--Mingora--MalamJabba--Bahrain--Kalam--Mingora--Pindi--Karachi

Kindly guide , should we stay at mingora or Marghazar?
Should we take public transport from pindi to mingora or should we go for a 4x4?

you can visit neelam valley till kel, either to go two different routes in one week. hire private transport from muzaffarabad 4*4 prefer due to snow season if you are more than 4 person. In last Dec i visited Neelam valley.
