Advice needed neelum valley with parents and kids in july

assalamulaikum. i shall be travelling with 2 young kids including an infant, and my parents.
1. which places to visit
2. best hotels or guest houses name and contact number if possible.
3. any advice for precautions.
4. from islamabad should i directly go to upper neelum or make a stay in muzzafarabad. Also what`s the time required from isl to muzzafararad and upper neelum.

Bro being a frequent traveler I would advise not to travel in July due to land slides. As this year again heavy rains are expected in Nothern areas as well so I will advise shift your trip in August atleast. Thanks

If you leave early from Islamabad you can easily reach Upper Neelum but I suggest you first visit to Jogran Resorts for night stay. Morning to Sharda or kel. You can stay on the way at Kharan and then you parked your vehicle at Sharda if its not 4x4 take a jeep from Sharda to Kel then Urang Kel by lift. you can stay at Kel there are good hotels and guest houses otherwise you also get a reasonable accommodation at Urang Kel. I suggest you to stay at Kel and left your parents and infant with them at hotel and go to Urang Kel by young kids because the track is very difficult for olders and kids. Have some time there and back and then next day go to Tao But for night stay.

Bro plane tickets aren't more expensive than your and your family life. I have lived and served there for more than 3 years (I'm in Army) and it's THE WORST month to go. Please don't. Trust me
