I am from Lahore, have a same gen vitz as u want to purchase. Here r my observations about it.
The car, though a little older now, is very reliable, and takes a lot of beating without creating many problems. It has a 4 cylinder engine, unlike the 3 cylinder one found in the next generations, which is a little smoother, and preferred here by the people, causing it to have a higher resale. Parts are cheap. I remember getting the whole front suspension from faisalabad, including steering rack etc, for somewhere around 6k. Regular maintenance means it won't create much fuss and will be light on pocket. The fuel economy is good too, around 13 with ac in city, 15+ on highway. The later generations are more spacious though. Basic amenities are standard.
Overall, it is a good and reliable car, given that you find a nicely maintained vehicle.
