Getting a good car is a challenge though, so I hope you are prepared for that mentally. When cars age people start their jugaards to keep them on the road. While these cars are solid the climate in Pakistan does not help them. You will have issues routinely about pipes bursting, electrical gremlins and potential suspension issues due to age, road conditions and materials used.
This will put your running cost way over a brand new civic. Another factor if you are comparing it to a brand new civic would be fuel consumption, they are not the same.
Have you driven a W204 or W211? Mercedes has some amazing suspensions and they truly drive like nothing else. They're quite low, so quite different from your corolla. Look for Shanawaz imports with fewer owners, that way you usually have cars that are more looked after (but that isn't always the case).
Another suggestion if you would want something Japanese are the Mark2 JZX110 (2000-2004). They are big, rear wheel drive imports and have Toyota reliability. They are absolute tanks that make 200k km without any major issues.
