Advise needed , Honda city model selection

Dear Alls,

Please help me to select right car for my self , i am confuse still...I have booked 1.5 Manual standard but confuse in following model , please guide me in this regards ,
1-Comfort
2-Resale
3-Value for money

Honda city 1.5 MT = 1,765,500 just can be converted in 1.3 AT by adding 90000.....
Honda city 1.3 AT = 1,845,500 just can be converted in 1.5 AT Aspire by adding 50000

We can add aspire function for just 80000 (after market )....(Rims,chrome knobs ,handles ,navigation etc).

Please help me in this regards.

Aspire trim depends on your own preference. But don’t go for 1.3 AT. It’ll feel underpowered and the fuel economy will disappoint you.

I also think that 1.5 MT aspire is budgeted car with all accessories ...what is your opinion about MT/PT ?

On a budget, I would just buy a simple 1.3 M/T Lunar Silver. Fun to drive, fuel economical, good resale.

If transmission is not an issue then stick to 1.5 MT
Or if you want a more pleasure or options go for aspire its a good package. I have also a 1.5 aspire, the feel of a aspire and a non-aspire is hell of difference.

I’d recommend 1.3 M/T Aspire. Or if going for A/T then 1.5. Mileage for 1.3 M/T with light foot is 14-15 with A/C in City. And 16-17 without A/C within city which according to me is Beautiful . If you’re looking for fuel economy then 1.3M/T is a very good option. Aspire or Non Aspire is your personal choice. Good luck!

Basically i am shifting from "Swift" to city and i drove two city (of friends) and feel i am riding CD 70 and sift like 125...So there is issue of pick in city 1.3 either MT or AT....Driving pleasure of swift and city could be compared when your choose 1.5....Experts can advise in this regards.(Above mention are my personal feeling ) ...

Agreed. 1.3 M/T isn’t even that powerful. If you’re looking for power then definitely 1.5 M/T. And if economy then 1.3 M/T is a very good option as I’m using it myself.

My question is, would you be redlining your car at every red light? No. You just need decent power and fuel economy. If you need power in the 1.3 M/T don't shift gears, just hold it and blast off. Enough power.

There is no quality difference in aspire and non aspire variants. Aspire is just a marketing gimmick to grab more money.The aspire items can be installed in Half of price but you have to compromise so called warranty.

If you can afford it go for the 1.5 M/T. I have a 1.3 M/T as my budget was limited. I'm very satisfied with it. Has gone from Karachi beach till Babusar Top with passengers without any problem. 1.5 will do everything in a slightly better way but with some sacrifice of fuel and in later stages lower resale value.

Go for 1.5 , i have both of these cars at home.1.3 manual and 1.5 manual.Believe me 1.5 MT is much better car. Most annoying part of 1.3 is 2nd gear with A/C on , it just dies while 1.5 goes like rocket.

Disagreed. I kept manual city for 2 years, it's quicker then the swift you're coming from. Checked multiple times (friendly drag at night on empty places) with a friend's swift. There's no issue of 'pick' in 1.3 MT . the only city which has this'pick' issue is the 1.3 prosmatec version where as the quickest of all of them is the 1.5 MT . Other then that, choose the version which caters best to your personal preferences.
