Advise - Recommendation of Santro Specialist to Change Timing Belt in Rawalpindi/Islamabad

Dear Brothers, I just bought Hyundai Santro. The previous owner, I am assuming did not change the timing belt as he did not remember it. It is now crossing 180,000 km. I understand that I urgently need to change the belt.

However, it is a bit of a technical and tricky job ie setting according to the marks. Can you suggest, any good Santro Specialists to do the job in Rawalpindi and Islamabad? What was your experience, with the specialist? I will really appreciate that. Thanks in Advance. Best Regards

Besides, @uzeemujeeb and @capsat, can you suggest, where can I get Original (New) Korean Parts ie In this case, it can be Water Body, Pulley, Bearing, and Belt etc. I have checked Saddar (Rawalpindi), and they have new Korean parts, but not Original (Hyundai).

Moreover, If you can share the numbers of respective shops. etc. Will appreciate both of you. Regards.

genuine parts for such an old auto will be hard to source. Better buy Korean A grade item for replacement the items you mentioned will be available in multiple brands and quality so please select cautiously.

Dear @uzeemujeeb, yesterday, I visited Mr Atta at Rajaatta (Hamza Camp). As you said, he was actually a nice person and understand the engines. For instance, when I asked him about the TDC (Top Dead Center), (TDC as a first step, and disengage timing belt later) to my surprise, he actually knows it. In contrast, no other local mechanic has an idea of TDC. To that extent, I am glad.

Having said that, what was your experience (direct or indirect) with him (Work and Labour Charges etc). This would help me make the final decision. Can you shed some light on it? Looking forward. My Sincere Regards. An earliest response will be helpful.

sir my personal / family car is in karachi maintained by mr. irshad ahmed (i also reached him via this forum) . about rajaatta sb i carefully read posts and after very long time he has become a person worth tagging & visiting. after all the reputation of a member is either tarnished or blossomed at PW after input from his tech skills and PW members input for his actual job over the vehicles.

am in ISB and will try catch up with him if i get time. am scheduled to reach GAWADER for taking position before Jan 05th.

so far i have not personally interacted with him. On Tuesday last i met saqib saheb humsafar autos without pw ref a nice gentleman technically skilled but his team mates farooq sb look suspicious to me. rest only Allah (swt) knows.
