Advise Required to visit Naran Valley from Rawalpindi

I am new comer.

I want to visit Naran Valley for 2 or 4 days in end of October"17 with my family. I am coming from Karachi by train.

Kindly give your valuable suggestion please.

It depends on when will you reach Islamabad. From Isb to Naran there are 2 options. Private or public transport. Will take almost 8 hours and you can go via PTDC coaster or hire some vehicle. Hi roof may take 25K approximately from isb to Naran for 4 days and 3 nights. For saiful malook and siri paaye you'll but needing jeeps for around 2500Rs per ride. Bargain is the key.

PTDC transport is good for Naran. No need to hire private transport if your plan is just to visit Naran.

Weather in Naran is 0 at night these days. During day time max is 12. As you are coming from Karachi, so it will be cold for you. Come well prepared.

Jeep to Saif ul Malook can be booked for 1800 these days. Don't pay more than that, no need to visit Siri Paye, not worth the hassle.

Why Murree? don't spoil your trip by going to murree, it was good 20 years ago. Galiyat is better than Murree.

If ur are 4 to 5 person ptdc transport expansive.they charge 1300 1 side per person there stop are fix.in private transport u should stop any spot. also visit shogran,jhalkund, lulusur lake, piyala lake babusurtop & many water fall after Naran.
2nd option hire a rent a car from pindi they charge 2500 to 3500 per day except fuel .per day depends on car make & model.fuel cost approx 6 to 8k depend on travel.
3rd complete tour package fix with bargaining any driver from Pindi to Naran to Pindi.
Govt jeep rate for saif ul malook & sri paya 2500 but depends on bargain it 1800 to 2200.jeep for lalazar 4000 & babusur top 7000 from Naran.

Thanks all for replies. Another question is that .. Is there any reasonable price (middle class accomodation) hotel in abbottabad ? and is there any direct route to abbotabad from pindi (flash hotel) ? and Is this possible that I visit Kaghan/Naran and return back to abotabad the same day?
