AF sensor reading altis 1.6 2013

my car fuel average is getting low day by day. my suspect is bank 1 sensor 1. here is techstream reading .
i just want to know is my af sensor need to be change.

no in P. car is auto. temp is 83C. milage of car is 112k km

The voltage is just a hair lower (meaning rich), you will need to conduct injector bleed down testing to see if you are leaking fuel.

Unfortunately toyota doesnt have a code for this fault, like other brands do. But those other brands are considered “too sensitive and failed technology” in Pakistan.

i test sensor resistance. pin 1 to 2 comes 3.1 ohm but pin1 to pin 4. no resistqance shows. tried 2 different dvms. tommorow i will take out the sensor and take snaps and share here

Techstream doesnt have bleed down test or function, you need a pulser tool to test,

Some manufacturers like GM and chrysler provide this in their specific repair scanners.

Btw, dont rely much on the af ohm test, as these sensors are pretty wild while functioning. These ecus dont keep a learnt reading for long, and will immediately react to the AF sensor input.

Did you douse it with cleaning spray by accident?

since sensor location is not easily accessible so i never opened it. i test it intact as connector is just behind the engine. car performance is great. no lag no hesitation.no missing etc but less then 8km/l is too low.. car fan is auto. thermostat is in place. using 5w oil(toyota). when i bought this car it easily gives me 10km/l.
thanks for your quick reply. update you as soon because today i will go to mechanic and take out sensor from exhaust to see condition of sensor. if he has some other sensor i will put it for test.
one more thing car vibrates a liittle at idle as rpm is less then 650. on ac rpm is steady 850 with no vibration

What happened with the sensor?
Check the idle values of maf as well.
You can test o2 using a scanner.

This is the updated nozzle shaped sensor from denso/toyota. But what the hell happened to it? How come its bent?

Its pretty strong and requires a lot of force to bend.

In any case, i wouldnt rely on it much. I personally replace such sensors. (They are very pricey though, and dont use anything else than a genuine denso/toyota part)

the graph is not sinusoidal at idle. what i read on net is the 100% ok sensor can show sinusoidal or at least look like that wave. mine shows mixture of square and sine wave

ok i will change it. my idea is that previous owner try to open it an bent it . can i use old one instead of this new shape

This is an AFR sensor, dont use the o2 sensor graph sampling to check this.

Not a conventional narrow band o2. It will not fluctuate like it. Wideband 0-5v voltages readings are pretty stable.

is denso written on these afr i donot saw any part no or denso written on it.

This is an AFR sensor, dont use the o2 sensor graph sampling to check this.(xulfiqar)

so only hope is techstream.

Not just techstream but quite a lot of aftermarket scan tools can display this voltage,

Please note that this is a “processed output voltage” and cannot be measured with a multimeter like a regular oxygen sensor.
