AFS/O2 sensor output?

What should be the ideal values for:

AFS voltage B1S1
AF Lambda B1S1
Short FT # 1
Long FT # 1
Total FT # 1
O2S B1S2 (.45 V?)

And in what condition should these be checked? When the engine is already warm and should be revving on 2500 RPM when observing the values?

Taking two snapshots at idle and revving it once to 2500 rpm? That is all the info we get?

Let's start with the basics: What is the mileage you are getting and under what type of use? Have any codes been set or read?

AFR Sensor Voltage Seems Fine Infact On LEAN Side.......Same WIth Total FT....!! Its Subtracting And Adding Making Around Normal TFT..

O2S Seems On LEAN Side As Voltage SHows ......!! SO Its No Where Close Running Rich.....!!

Its Actually Around 15-15.5:1 As Per My Wild Guess

These are while being @ stationary condition (car is @ P). Wouldn't a running data give a more accurate picture?

He's getting around 10 I believe (ref. Axio Fan Club thread).

@vcheng If you mean recording the whole data b/w idle to 2500 RPM then I can do that as well. Have already got recorded data of a long drive in Techstream data file, which can be played in the same. Also got the recorded AFS/O2 sensor test data, the test under Techstream software itself, 30 sec duration. Is the said duration enough to test health of the said sensors though?

Anyway, I get about 12.5-13 KM/liter in local, local being in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. While the last fill up performed was after a trip of 531 KM, with 220 km of highway speed under 100 km/h (50% use of A/C on 25C/3 persons/full load in the trunk) and got 13.86 km/liter. The driving style is normal, with ECO light turned ON most of the time.

I was hoping to get more but this is possibly okay mileage with Axio??? Even so, I am just looking to understand the values of AFS/O2 sensors and how they respond in normal vs abnormal condition.

There's DTC of P1605 (Rough Idling) under pending.

Well, I went to Faisalabad last month and I got 697KM in full tank (120+ through and through but only 2 passengers and no luggage). Filled from Jinnah Park PSO and refueled from Mall PSO (opp. AFIC). I got roughly 17km/l mileage.

There's DTC of P1605 (Rough Idling) under pending.

Oh and I think the P1605 for Toyota is rough idle itself while it is in pending, not current and no Check engine light either (Edit: P1605 does not bring up MIL acc. to source) so don't think it is a problem?

From Techstream help:

Pending DTC’s are trouble codes stored in the ECU when non-continuous (2 trip) monitors fail the first trip. Pending DTC’s do not command the MIL On when stored in the ECU. Pending DTC’s remain stored in the ECU until the ECU monitor completes and Passes one trip. If the monitor fails the 2nd trip, the Pending DTC remains, a Current DTC is set, and the MIL is turned on. Pending DTC’s can also be cleared using the Clear DTC’s function of the Scantool.

I Think He Mentioned That This Log Is After Driving For like 20mins.... In That Sense.....It Seems Fine To Me As Sensors Voltage And TFT Readings Are Normal...

It Would Be More Good If The Log Is Taken For Further More Cruise To WOT

The Mileage Seems Totally Fine COnsidering Your Use.....!!

The Knock Code Might Have Been Reported Sometime Due To Excessive Knock....Its COMMON In These Cars .....Clear It And See If It Appears Again...A KNOCK Sound Is Physical Evidence That Engine Is Not Happy With Fuel Your Are Feeding....SO Then Try Mixing SOme Ratios Of HOBC From Good Pump In Every Refill And It Will Help.....

You Car Have 1 AFR(Wideband) And 1 O2 Sensor(Narrow Band).....Both Are Functioning Fine As Per Readings......Targeting AFR's

I hope I am not confusing anything here......

I just noticed in the data that B1S1 voltage remains in 3.x V range on idle + while revving to 2500 RPM and on 2500 RPM. Is this normal??? For the long run which was recorded, about 24 minutes. According to that data, the minimum voltage B1S1 recorded was 1.89 V and maximum 4.99

Now I got a normal values range for the data list of 1NZ-FE engine (from YARIS data) which can be also verified by NZE141 data below:

According to that:

Heated oxygen sensor output voltage for sensor 1
Min.: 0 V, Max.: 1.275 V

Normal condition
0 to 1 V:
Driving at 70 km/h (43 mph)

This is the output voltage of the heated oxygen sensor (sensor 1).
Values close to 0 V indicate an air-fuel ratio leaner than the stoichiometric ratio.
Values close to 1 V indicate an air-fuel ratio richer than the stoichiometric ratio.
During air-fuel ratio feedback control, the value moves back and forth in the range of 0 to 1 V.

Is your transmission oil up to date, Is there any chance it has no proper CVT oil, Is pickup fine. If yes then try changing the fuel station as half of em are rip-offs

A/c To Your Log Test...The Bank 1 Sensor Is AFR Sensor......(5v) Whereas Bank 2 Is O2 Sensor(1v)

The Readings You Mentioned Are For O2 Sensor(Narrow Band) Not Wideband....

That's WHy Its Confusing For You

Ah! Thanks for the clarification. I was looking under 1NZ-FE SFI system which has O2 sensor in Bank 1 while SFI SYSTEM (w/ Air Fuel Ratio Sensor) is the correct one here, which has the AFR sensor and the values are:

Air fuel ratio sensor output voltage for bank 1 sensor 1
Min.: 0 V, Max.: 7.99 V
