Upar say i have been asking people on this forum about HKT fuel pump and some say that it causes starting problems and has considerable noise....so it seems there are no options.

hkt is a proper japanese part manufacturer. search on Google about it. and that 60k wala pump konsa hoga and whats the surety? i have never observed any pick issues or starting issues in my car on this fuel pump. all i know is that i installed a brand new quality part. regarding failure, even Rolls Royce engines of Aircrafts fail in sky all of a sudden...

otherwise if paying 60k+ for a 4-5k item gives you satisfaction then you can go for it here on car forums the main help is to guide others in best suited economical ways as per own past experiences. otherwise it's easiest to drop car at dealership even for a tyre puncture

hahah bro konsi satisfaction...ye to tension hai ...i am going to give HKT a try on your recommendation hopefully meray bhi 3 saal nikal jain IA.
waisay aik question hai (i have no idea) kay dont you think 5k is a bit cheap for a genuine part...ap ko to aur bhi sasta para tha 3.8k ka.

whatdo you mean by genuine? in your case you have these options - Chinese new (can work excellent and can die the other day), Malaysian (better than Chinese), Kabli scrap maal (useless as per my experiences), new Japanese manufactured (best option in almost 2.5 times the price of Chinese). but again i say please do not follow me blindly. i am just sharing my own experiences - if am satisfied with some quality replacement part, i will recommend it as i have tested it for over 2+ years.

I am facing the same issue, My mechanic changed the fuel pump and petrol gas conversion switch, on his demand i baught Nabco fuel pump, but after week it stoped working, yesterday again got it fixed by another ellectrition, he said the problem was with switch, and he changed the switch, but after a day it again stoped working on highway. went to suzuki workshop, they said it will cost you 145k plus 1 week time atleast. dont sure if the issue is with fuel pump or wiring.
