Aftermarket security system in city 2018 with immobilizer

I have bought city 1.5 aspire prosmatec 18 model with immobilizer.......will it be suitable for me to install steelmate security alarm system .....for better security and trunk opening ...as i have to leave the car on road for hours

Immobilizer is good, but instead of this it is better to get a steering lock.

I had installed steelmate system from hera brother rwp. for the first five years it was abosuitky fine but with the passage if time there were problems with remote battery, on and off button repair . too much wiring involved loss of signals. and now the system is completely dead have to remove panel to start my vehicle and immobilizer is working fine the remote and the control panel is deemed irreparable now by the electirician.. so in total roughly there were around ten to 15 occasions i had different kind of problems with the steelmate system, i will not recommend thanks

The so called company fitted "immobilzer" is nothing but a cheap aftermarket system which can be bypassed in just a minute. Same is the case with other security systems. If u want a reliable solution, go for a custom tailored solution.

Or go for 100% coverage insurance. That way if anyone steals your side mirrors or puts dents in your car while it's parked on the road then you can get the items replaced/repaired under insurance. It's better not to mess around with the car's electronics by installing aftermarket security systems. And also buy a crook lock to deter would be thieves.

Cant write out the exact specific details here on public forum, but would give few pointers.
Security system should be installed in hard to reach place and utilize techniques not commonly used. Like for instance utilizing the neutral start switch in automatic car with a remote operated relay concealed properly with wiring harness piping like oem wiring. Obviously installing a system in such a way is not a small time task.
The way usual shops install security system is just tap their most favourite line at a eaay to reach place and put the system at hands access under the dash.
One if the system i installed requires complete dash removal to bypass/hotwire it. That's how toyota have positioned a crtical component of tbeir immobilzer system in most cars,behind the ac evaporator core,a place one can't reacg without opening the complete dash
